Like every bar, western food is part of the menu and pasta is one of my favourite item to order. To me the only way to distinguish itself from other restaurant / bar have to be the taste and price of it. The linguini carbonara here tasted superb while the bacon was simply awesome. Most importantly the carbonara doesn't taste like it is from canned sauce. The pasta is well cooked and the dish is rich and doesn't feel greasy.

Pork Sausage Smile Jul 15, 2012

Jarrod & Rawlins practise simple concept in its restaurant where it combine both pleasure of enjoying great food and atmosphere that is fun and intimate. The pork sausage is good here where you can even taste the light charcoal infused into the pork meat. The sausage is very filling and frim, not forgetting it is heavily flavoured. It is serves with scoops of already tasty mashed potato with very smooth texture that melts in your mouth. There are various type of sausage to choose from but I'm happy to go with the waiter recommendation.

Variety of Pan Mee Smile Jul 15, 2012

Fancy Mee Corner offer not just soothing ambiance to diners but also a huge variety of rarely seen menu with an affordable price. There are spring onion pan mee (left) and mum's pan mee (right) that I manage to try. The spring onion pan mee (can be soup / dry) is covered with lots of lettuce on top while below it there's slices of tender pork while the mum's pan mee is the classic clear soup pan mee. They both taste equally delicious and most importantly, the texture of the noodle is smooth and thin but firm.

I think the standard of SSL Noodle somehow had gone down and it wasn't as tasty as it used to be after several visit. The clear soup pan mee consist of meatball, vegetable, 'ikan bilis', black fungus and some fried onion with a choice to choose various typ of noodle to go along with. The soup taste rather plain and doesn't have the strong scent it used to be while the meatball is still good to me with a rather rough texture but chewy and tasty.

Mango Yogurt Cake Smile Jul 15, 2012   (Related Review)

The dessert here at Charlie Brown Cafe is very appetizing even just by its look / appearance. Not only it is attractive to the children, but adult like me too do can't help but to get one to try out. Mango and yogurt is always a perfect match and my instinct was right, the take taste heavenly good. The softness of the cake is an added point where as the smooth mango yogurt layer wasn't sweet like other cake. I can't help but thinking I'm having a healthiest cake ever in the snoopy concept cafe. The snoopy might be too cute to eat, but being a hungry fella, I munch like it never exist.
