Seafood Porridge  OK Oct 06, 2013   (Related Review)

Seafood Porridge

This menu of Healthy Eating category does come ironically with its presentation tongue Yea, the Seafood Porridge is dished out in a bowl that resembles the toilet undeniably lol But being a well-trained and adventuresome foodie so called, this doesn’t affect me much, lol. It is actually a bowl of congee that paired with side dishes like fried fish fillet, crab filaments and some julienned gingers alongside some aromatic chopped spring onions. I would say it is just a normal congee, except that with a innovative and daring serving idea lol

T-Bowl_Sungai Wang OK Oct 06, 2013

T-Bowl_Sungai Wang

This T-Bowl café is definitely one of its kind and surely won’t gain much approval from the elderly, haha. Themed as toilet bowl and you would literally find the surrounding décor is based on this idea cheekily, no joke! This idea is said to be hailed from Taiwan and slowly got accepted by the young and adventurous folks here. Even the food design is also revolving all the stuff you could see in the restroom and some pattern could actually pose a challenge to your appetite visually. So just close your eyes and eat it! tongue

Char Siew Pau OK Oct 06, 2013   (Related Review)

Char Siew Pau

Next I got this vegetarian Char Siew Pau upon hearing a positive feedback from a frequent patron. From the exterior, it does seem like any ordinary pau available out there, except that it might look bit yellowish, as if they are made of wheat germ flour. Bun is soft and nicely encasing a generous portion of char siew. The char siew is decently marinated with its condiments as well as drenches with some white sesame to bring up the flavor. The filling is not too dry not too watery. It does makes a lighter type of pau compared to the usual meaty one.

Honey Stir-Fried Chicken

Well, I guess this plate of Honey Stir-Fried Chicken is not so lucky feedback wise, for it doesn’t really live up to the minimum expectation. Since it is said to be of honey stir-fried variety, am actually looking forward to some sweet and sour taste rather than perfectly or purely with honey flavor. But the gravy that is used not a single part that actually offers the zesty tang. It’s more like a diluted tomato sauce to me that is being doused on top of the fried chicken cutlets. Presentation wise is still mediocre, but seriously, taste for this fare need to be improved. Having said that, am still pretty happy with its other 20 types of arrays including Lei Char, and this won’t hamper me from visiting again. As the adage goes, don’t let a rotten apple spoils the whole basket right? lol

Curry Chicken Chop Rice

While in a rush for the next meeting and can’t think about where to have a quick lunch, so here we are, at the Rabbit Café located at Menara Cosway. This place is known to be serving your order fast and thus, is quite time-savvy for city folks. Just as we are wondering how long it gonna takes, this plate of Curry Chicken Chop Rice has arrived. The chicken chop has been sliced for easier consumption of the guests. It is drenched with some savoury curry sauce that helps give the chicken meat some moisture so to make it more appetizing. Meat is adequately juicy and not too oily either.
