TGIF! OK Apr 02, 2014

Oh yea, here it comes TGIF! lol

Well, thus far is my maiden step into this food chain, after most of the western visits are primarily dominated by Chillies or Tony Roma’s, hehe.

So guess finally leave a foot print here for some palate testing I suppose.

The Choc Mint milkshake is creamily blended and luckily, not overly sweet. Savory plates of mains are quite normal to me, ranging from the famous Tennesse steak to Lamb and Seafood. But thank god that the Salmon cutlet is juicy and chunkily tender. However, the Tennesse sauce don’t really go well with my oceanic treat which I think some garlic butter sauce would do a better job. Just my two cents’ ^_^

Raw Fish Porridge Smile Apr 02, 2014

Categories : Chinese | Food court | Porridge

As that day calles for a milder palate pleasing food, I suppose getting a salubrious bowl of congee wouldn’t go wrong any way : )

This outlet seems to be famous for its Raw Fish Porridge, where raw slices of fish are added to the hot bowl of freshly scooped congee. The congee is quite nice as it is thoroughly boiled till smooth. Asfor the raw fish, not to be worried as the time you reach home from take away, the fish would have been cooked in the piping hot porridge. Added with some sesame oil and light pepper dashes, it is good to go along with slices of ginger and fragrant scallions.

Vegetarian Pastries

Apart from the usual vegetarian dishes, this Guan Yin temple is also frequented by people for its many healthy and delicious homemade pau and buns.

Amongst them are the red bean and lotus filling pastry. The pastry layer is thin enough to allow you to enjoy the natural sweetness of the fillings, without much guilt. And my favourite always goes to their red bean ones. Never failed to tempt me, at least till now smile

Delicious Bread Smile Apr 02, 2014   (Related Review)

A usual place that I would be passing by whenever going to gym.

A decent array of bakeries are offered here, ranging from cake, breads, cheese to loaves. And definitely would tune to have cheesy pastries, call it an unexplainable naturally affinity? ^_^

The Cream Cheese mini loaf serves to make a light snack to fill up the hunger pang in between. Bread is soft encasing the creamy filling. But should you prefer something more savory, then the triangular Tuna Bun is good to go too. Filled with chunky meat and not overwhelmed by mayo, therefore making it suitable for anyone’s taste bud.

Meeting Fresh Desserts :) Smile Apr 02, 2014

What could be the better candidate to chill out your body on a sultry day?

For us, a few sips of the tea and smooth icy dessert from Meet the Fresh would carry out the task pretty efficiently smile

Honey Bean with Brown Sugar Cake Bean Curd entices me more with its silky bean curd. Soya aroma is soothingly pampering, with sweet red beans. Oh by the way, look! I found another cheese delights, Iced Blended Cream Cheese! Yea, it might be bit mind boggling, but who cares, once awhile to try out something new? That would just enrich your life in a much more amusing way! (=

The Taro Dessert Bowl is a joy to have too! The staff is so nice that he actually gives me some extra helping on the taros lol

Anyhow, there are still other choices for you to choose from, be it cold or hot version. And the Melon Drink is actually quite rejuvenating, same goes with the Black Tea too.
