Once stepping into the restaurant, you would be greeted welcome by the friendly staffs, and inside the restaurant is well decorated with ornaments and wall paper of Japanese theme.
There are few sections of the buffet counters, the middle counter that is the sushi and sashimi and teppanyaki section, what I love about this one is that I could watch the chef cooking and flipping the ingredients that I had selected, and then piping hot teppanyaki would be mine to savour as I like.
While at the front near the cashier counter is where all different types of tempuras can be found, my favorite are the prawn tempura and the soft shell crab tempura. Both tasted crunchy though the soft shell crab tempura appeared to be little salty to my friend.
Not to forget the cheese baked oyster that tasted so authentic, while I don't quite fancy the cheese baked snails as I'm not used to eating that.
There are also the dessert counter with all lovely cakes, fruits, pudding and ice cream which are all so tempting. I love the sago gula melaka and the pumpkin pudding (on the spoon), both lovely!
Other than that, there are soup counter, hot-wok section and dim sum counter in Shogun. So be prepared to be spoilt with choices here.
