It's a must to go Bukit Tambun if you wanna eat seafood in Penang (mainland). The dishes are fresh and delicious smile Prices are reasonable and cheap as well.

Famous Cendol at Jonker 88 Smile Dec 31, 2012

Cendol is my love! The taste of Malacca Sugar is so fragrant and intense lol Speaking about malacca sugar, it is indispensable in making local kuih-muih or desserts. Malacca sugar or gula melaka is actually made by the sap collected from the coconut tree or arenga pinnata palm.

Have tried the cendol at Jonker street smile due to the crowd and limited capacity of the shop on the first day, we visited on another time (imagine the long queue and cramped shop). Ordered durian cendol =D The Malacca sugar used here is very concentrated but it's a little too sweet for me.

The service is kinda fast and price is quite cheap smile Do give it a try when you visit Malacca.

Famous Fried Oyster in Malacca Smile Dec 31, 2012

We proceed to another alley, also around Jalan Bunga Raya, which is famous for fried oyster omelette. Many people are lining up for it. I really highly recommend this because it's very delicious, comparable to Penang! And I really wanna crave for more after finishing up it with my friends.

Super delicious fried oyster! XD

The seafood stall and this fried oyster only opens after 7pm. You may give it a try when going to Malacca smile Around 15-20 minutes walk from Jonker Street lol

Tong Bee's Cockles OK Dec 31, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Seafood

This time we are going to a stall in an alley of Jalan Bunga Raya which is famous for the seafood such as cockles, clams, field snails, bean curd, fried fish ball, squid and etc. If you don't mind the clamped dirty place and longkang smell, this might be a good spot for seafood smile Anyway it's quite a famous spot, airing @HoChak! 8TV before.

The cockles are acceptable but I really can't accept the snails *yucks* but I think it's quite cheap although I already forgot the actual price lol

Famous cendol in Penang Smile Dec 30, 2012

Nothing beats the cendol at Penang Road smile The sweet and tasteful Malacca sugar poured on the nicely blended ice! It melts in the mouth and best served in the hot afternoon!

The stall is located at a small alley and always packed and full of people.

You have to order it and eat by the road side. The best way to eat the cendol like the locals lols

Other than cendol, they also sell ice kacang and ice pop. Do try them when you visit this stall smile
