Cream Mango with Passion Fruit - RM5.90

If you are Gong Cha fan, you probably know the signature drink there, yes the cream with tea. Coco too have cream with tea and I like it much more than Gong Cha Signature Milk Tea. The cream is sweet rather than salty, taste like the whipped cream, delicious! Passion fruit is added inside too, you wont get bore of having drink only. On top of the cap, they provide a small plastic knife to cut open the lid so that you can enjoy the cream. It have an advantage is you wont have to worry about the drink to spill when you order take away as the lid is sealed.

3 Brothers-RM6.90

It is a combination of Milk Tea with Pearl, Pudding and Grass Jelly. 3 types of toppings, all are in black which make it named as 3 brothers I guess. Milk tea taste normal, not much different with other milk teas in the market except that they provide more toppings in the drink. You can have a try and taste how different when 3 of them are mix in. I was told that the pearl can be used in 3 hours only, after 3 hours they will throw it away and cook again to ensure the customers always serve with fresh pearls as well as the milk tea.

Fresh Milk with Grass Jelly-RM6.90

I like the fresh milk, at least better than Chatime's Grass Jelly with Fresh Milk. The milk taste more natural not that artificial. If you are a fresh milk's fan like me, must try it out!

Bubble Gaga-RM6.90

The most favourite drink according to feedback by customer. I do agree with it, all of us love it. It really look like lady gaga, mixture of passion fruit tea with passion fruit seed, pearl and coconut jelly. I have to praise on its passion fruit seed, taste very crunchy and special. Don't worry, the seed can be consume, it wont grow plant on your tummy lol. The drink was not too sweet (all the drinks are served in normal sugar level), taste very refereshing and won't make you get thirsty after drinking it. This is definitely the must try one!

Great Italian Restaurant Smile Jun 04, 2012

Categories : Italian | Café | Pizza/Pasta

We came here for the first time for a birthday celebration, and boy were in for a surprise. Our normal perception of Italian food is: tiny portions & lots of pasta... But the Italiannies at the Curve served really big portions, I have to thank the waiter for advising us about the portions and recommending some dishes according to our taste.

The first thing you'd notice in Italiannies here is that the waiters are trained really well. They speak in a very professional manner and takes care of your needs (such as giving you napkins) without you even asking.

Toasted Bruschetta - RM17.90

An appetizer. I absolutely love this, i love the tuscan garlic bread, and you dip it with the cheese & potatoes together it tastes heavenly. Highly recommended, but the portion is quite big as a starter, which I think is enough for 2-3 persons. I'm not complaining about that! lol

Chicken Parmegiana - Approx. RM20-30

This is our main dish of fried chicken topped with Parmesan cheese on top of spaghetti. Absolutely delicious. But I wonder why I can't find this item in their current menu and I have forgotten the prices. Nevertheless, kudos to our waiter, he suggested that the portion is enough for the two of us and he was right. We were totally full and were barely able to finish it all.

Overall, it is a great place to have a great dinner. I'll definitely be back for more in the future.

Restoran Yong Len

This is a restaurant where my family has been buying food from ever since I was born. Yes, literally, for more than 25 years the stall owners have much or less remained the same and they are like our next door neighbours. The place had a humble start and was not very famous back then, but still the food was great and we kept coming back even though we have shifted our house to a place that's quite far from here.

Nowadays, Yong Len is absolutely packed throughout the mornings until the afternoon, especially the weekends. Many residents in Taman Tun eat their breakfast here after a morning walk at the nearby parks. And we can see why this is the case below...
Char Kuay Teow

Char Kuay Teow

Fried Kueh Teow - Big: RM 5.00 / Small: RM4.30
The Char Kuay Teow here is one of my favourites. You may need to wait a while for the food but I think it is worth it. The flavour is overall very balanced, not too oily, and you can especially taste all the ingredients that are freshly fried from the wok.
Curry Mee

Curry Mee

Curry Mee - Big: RM6.00 / Small: RM5.00
Yong Len's curry mee is my absolute favourite curry mee of all. The soup tastes great and I normally like to add all the chili and make it tastes even spicier. Although it may be pricey, but they do not skimp on the ingredients, therefore I would order curry mee 8 out of ten times when I come to Yong Len. The stall also sells Pork Noodle (Big: RM5.00 / Small: RM4.30) and Yee Mee (Big: RM6.00 / Small: RM 5.00)
Prawn Mee

Prawn Mee

Prawn Mee - Big: RM5.00 / Small: RM4.30
The prawn mee is also another highlight of Yong Len. It is quite famous and I do see many people order prawn mee. Personally, I prefer curry mee over prawn mee, but I also like this stall's prawn mee very much. My friend however mentioned that there is no hard boiled egg in the prawn mee, which still makes it "incomplete". Maybe it might be that they forgot to add, or it might be that the small portion doesn't include eggs. I'll be sure to ask next time we come back.

Overall, Yong Len is a great place to take away food, and if you don't mind waiting for a table it is sure worth it to savor every dish the restaurant has to offer.

Haikara Style Cafe & Bakery gives you a homely feel to your dining experience. The staff are friendly and their menu offer a range of delicacies that are not found in other restaurants. This is actually our second time here as we accidentally discovered this place and wasn't prepared to give it a proper review, now let's take a look at the food that they have...

Croquette - RM9.90

Their Croquette, a famous Japanese appetizer made with minced chicken, onion and potato patty is absolutely delicious. Must try item, and it will open up your appetite without fail.

Mushroom Cup Soup - RM3.90

Also another must try item, the soup is very fresh and tastes great. Although the portion is rather small, I would say that they did it right because appetizers are not supposed to fill your stomach. They do however leave you begging for more.... tongue
Bad!

Bad!

Chicken Tar Tar Don - RM18.90

Though the dish looks great, I would say that it is not meant for everyone. The chicken is topped with scrambled eggs and there is a very strong smell of vinegar. Not only that, the rice itself is also added with vinegar and that does not taste like the regular sushi rice that we are used to. The things that taste great are the chicken and the vegetables, because we Malaysians aren't used to eating such high amounts of vinegar in our dishes.

Fisherman Style Spicy Tomato Pasta - RM26.90

One thing great about this cafe is that their food does actually look identical to their menu! What you see, is really what you get and they don't skimp on ingredients. I like this pasta very much, although it doesn't taste like regular Italian pastas from Italiannes and other western restaurants. It has a strong taste of fresh seafood and also, it is VERY, VERY spicy. The wife of the storeowner did ask us about our tolerance to spicy dishes; we asked them to go on ahead and do what they do best. You have been warned.

For those who aren't familiar with Kelana Jaya, you surely wouldn't know this vegetarian restaurant that actually serves great food at a decent price. It is suitable for family style dining or just a casual meal with your friends.

Nasi Kandar - RM6

They serve a great variety of foods including indian and chinese dishes. Here is the Nasi Kandar that costs only RM6 yet is full of ingredients. It tastes great, very spicy, uses vegetarian meat as substitute for mutton. Highly recommended dish.

Sweet & Sour Vegetarian Spare Ribs Rice - RM6

This dish also tastes great, in chinese we know it as the 排骨王饭 or Marmite spare ribs rice. The portion is just enough for one person, and its not spicy, yet not too sweet. A good one to try out.
