Due to my colleague's 3rd anniversary working in our company, she was very generous to treat the whole department to lunch here. I never knew there is such a cosy and cool and awesome restaurant just in Taman Paramount serving the best food at such affordable price!

The place is easy to miss as there is no signboard outside at all! I guess you must have very clear vision for food to spot it!

The decor was fantastic and very unique so much so that I am definitely making a comeback to bring my friends over for a great gathering. It was like an art gallery with art pieces and drawings and paintings hung on all the walls. I have  a feeling the boss likes the old artistes like Azean Irdawaty as there were black and white pictures of her.

There is even a special dining room, perhaps for reservation and private functions that is so elaborately decorated with paintings and unique lamps.

There is also al fresco dining with a lot of special lamps hung from the ceiling. I presume there might be band at night as I spotted a small stage. Every wooden chair has a small rectangular pillow tied to it, very attention-to-detail.

Inside, the ceiling is filled with hats like witch hats etc hung from the ceiling. Definitely very extraordinary experience. There is also an old cabinet displaying curios like knick-knacks, notebooks and some small decorations. There is also a big bookshelf displaying many books from picture books to encyclopaedias and coffee books.

The food? Just simply amazing and as unique as the decoration and ambience. A look at the menu will cause any foodie to feel like she wants to order simply everything!

My colleague ordered Chicken Ala-King which is  typical rice dish served in old rest house and club houses. The host ordered a rice dish which has a weird name called Bouillabaisse which is traditional seafood stew from Marseille. I did not take pictures as it is not polite to do that.

I ordered Moussaka (RM 22.90) which contained mashed potatoes with cheese, sauteed spiced minced lamb, fried aubergine, classic marinara sauce, topped with egg and cheese mixture. The verdict. Simply wonders to the soul and definitely ordering this mediterranean dish again!

My other colleague ordered seafood salad which looks normal to me. The prawns were quite fresh.

The lemonade was also refreshing to the soul.

The desserts were not in the menu. We ordered the Creme Brulee which all my colleagues kept praising except for me as I did not like the creamy stuff.

The Banana Toffee was the most sinful and tasty for me. Every bite was sinfully heaven. The chocolate chips on top add to the wonders.
