On a sunny Sunday, we decided to have Chilly Pan Mee for breakfast before we headed to the malls. The clear soup base was lacking in flavors and fragrance, as compared to other versions of pan mee soup base I have had in the past.
In terms of the texture, the noodles were cooked to al-dente perfection. Aside from the usual fried anchovies, chinese Spinach, minced meat and fried shallots, that bowl of noodles was topped off with a poached egg to boost up the breakfast fare. The portion was just nice for an average eater like me.
