Was here on 5th Jan 2014 to celebrate a dear friend's birthday, but the experience was marred by bad food. Here's the review of the food we ordered - Turkey in a Basket and Pork Knuckle ros - The turkey was not bad and the portion is huge, so no complains there. Most of the staff are friendly, and is fairly quick to respond.Cons - The Pork knuckle that we ordered was terrible. When it was presented to us on the table, there's an acrid smell wafting from the platter. The true disappointment (and horror) came when we saw the inside of the pork knuckle - the meat is very hard, very dry and tasteless.When we ask for the manager, the only explanation we got from him when we ask why is the meat so dry and hard, is that "this is our restaurant's style". Seriously? If this is the quality of food being served here, I'd advise everyone NOT to try out their pork knuckle.We strongly belief that this particular piece of pork knuckle is NOT fresh, and is possibly some leftovers from the previous night and was re-fried or something for us that afternoon. We have photo evidence of the meat (look at the pictures section, if it was approved)One of my friend called up the owner, and explained the situation to her. We were asked to email her a picture of the pork knuckle (which we did), and now exactly one week later (it was sent to her on 8th Jan), there is no response/reply whatsoever from the owner and she is avoiding and not picking up our calls since then.What kind of customer service is this? Very disappointed with this place, since it was supposedly highly recommended.
