throughout our makan session, the sound of chopping was non-freaking-stop! just imagine how good their business is… Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng | RM 8
a plate of nasi lemak ayan goreng comes with a handful of peanuts and ikan bilis, cucumer, a halved hard-boiled egg, a dollop of sambal and a huge fried chicken drumstick!
drumstick is the only chicken part available by the way. sambal and rice is the most important component in nasi lemak, in my opinion la. the rice here was fluffy and fragrant with santan however the sambal was on the sweet side, and not spicy. child-friendly! i wish it to be spicier though.
fried chicken was good! crisp on the inside and still remain moist on the inside. unlike those we had at nasi kandar! the skin was flavourful, must be the spices they use to marinate the chickens. yeah, me, who usually frown at the sight of skin (be it from fish, pork or chicken), had a bite too, it looks toooo inviting. hehe.
