On a hot afternoon, the best snack is a bowl of ice cold cendol. Most Malaysians get their cendol from road side stalls or vans. A good bowl of cendol must come with lots of gula melaka and it must be sweet and fragrant. The mixture is milky color with green grass jelly. You can choose to add corn, kidney beans or pulut in a cendol or opt for the plain cendol which is my favourite. With a nice bowl of cold cendol you can put aside your worries and beat the heat.
