Nasi Kandar had its humble origins in Penang Island, Nasi’ means rice in Malay while ‘Kandar’ refers to a formidable stick that is slung across one’s shoulder to carry heavy objects securely hung on both ends of the stick. Their signature dish of course is Nasi Kandar, Roti Tissue, Lassi drink and Cheese Naan. I have ordered Roti 3 Rasa and Nescafe Tarik as my breakfast. Basically, Roti 3 Rasa is a combination of Roti Telur, Roti Planta and Roti Kaya into one. It is crispy, taste unique but delicious. The Nescafe Tarik is good as well and kick start for my day.
