All my friends were spamming my Instagram wall with Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe and it really attracted me to give it a try especially their Blueberry Cheese Snow Ice. All my friends were spamming my Instagram wall with Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe and it really attracted me to give it a try especially their Blueberry Cheese Snow Ice. My sister and I went there for late lunch. Hanbing Korean Dessert Cafe is located same row with Dip N Dip, Bangsar. They are popular for their Korean Dessert but they do serve food & beverages in their menu. They are also having an special set menu that is valid from 12pm-8pm. We were welcomed by the staff once entered the cafe and we choose our own place to be seated. Once seated they serve an us with a glass of drink (I think it’s a kind of Korean Drink) The ambiance of the cafe was good with nice lightings and comfortable. A couple of people occupied the cafe when we arrived at 4pm but it was started filling up quickly later on. After going though the menu, we ordered Set C. Good to drink while waiting for the foods.
Korean Tea of the Day was delicious and we liked it. Set C includes of Korean Spicy Chicken, Cheese Topokki, Korean Tea Of the Day and Blueberry Cheese Snow Ice.
Set C @ RM 32.80 Cheese Topokki was okay for us. Tender and Juicy fried chicken topped with spicy sauce. Sauce was not a good combination for the chicken and it does not get along well yet the fried chicken was good. Blueberry Cheese Snow Ice was yummy. We loved it. It just melt in our mouth. Cheese + Blueberry is always a wining combination and it my favorite too but the portion was rather small for us. It was an okay lunch for us. Foods are good but not something to "WOW" about except the desserts and the portions are rather small even an Ala-Cate foods from what I observed. It is consider pricey compare to my normal Korean Restaurant. Would I drop by again? Maybe for the desert but I still have to think twice as a bowl of desert can cost me RM 30++ with Service Charge + GST. If a group of 3 person dine-in be ready to pay around RM 90-RM 100 when everyone orders each bowls of dessert for themselves.
Service Charge: 10%
GST: 6%
