Bangkok Lane Mee Mamak is conveniently located at Jalan Burma. It is a coffee shop that must not be missed for everyone that visits Penang. Mee Goreng Mamak Style with Succulent LambMee Goreng Mamak with succulent lamb is a definite winner for those who love mamak food. The mee goreng itself is not oily and full with flavour. The lamb is tender, juicy and packed with flavour as well. continue reading

Bangkok Lane Mee MamakBangkok Lane Mee Mamak is quite a nice dish to be eaten at Penang. The mee they used is not too thin and not too thick. They are very chewy. The mee mamak tasted spicy, salty and sourish too. They provide a small lime for you to add into the mee mamak goreng to enhance the taste. Overall, they used eggs, chicken meat, some curry, mee and vegetables to cooked this whole thing. continue reading

Other than mee goreng, Mee Rebus is also recommended . To those who prefer a not-so-heaty meal can opt for this. It is also from the same stall. A remarkably distinctive flavor from Jawa mee. Served with potato gravy instead of stir-frying. Lot's of potato -starchy gravy, yet the aroma is so distinctive, lots of sambal squid which is not spicy too!! It's just simply gratifying. continue reading
