I love Taiwanese Cuisine because I been to Taiwan before, their foods and desserts are delicious! Little Taiwan was established in 2000 in Malaysia. It was an instant success and received a lot of good comments from Malaysian. Little Taiwan served Halal foods which is very convenient because Malaysia is a multi-racial society. We ordered Braised Chicken Drumstick Rice set which include Salad, Jelly, Fruits and Soup. The rice is served with marinade minced chicken. The drumstick is flavourful and delicious because it absorbed the sauce. The drumstick cook very well and juicy.I love Yam so this Crispy Golden Yam Ball caught my eyes. The fillings are yam, salted egg yolk and some minced chicken. Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Recommended! For drinks, we ordered Roasted Oolong Milk Tea. Smooth and silky~Overall, I definitely will visit them again. The price is worth for the foods. Good foods and services as well~Ambiance: 6/10Price: 7/10Food: 7/10Verdict: Yummy authentic Taiwanese foods and beverages. continue reading

Going for a movie later and want to look for something to eat before the movie, we come to this taiwan style food at the LG floor which hide at the corner around a few different restaurant. My boy friend had ordered this minced meat rice box where there is minced meat with half of the hard boil egg with some vegetables on top of the rice. The minced meat were quite a lot luckily it is not too salty and my boy friend still eat with their famous chilli. But remember do not take too much of the chilli as it is very spicy until the lips and tongue will be numb.If i were to rate this i would give 8/10 continue reading

Hmmm.. actually I can quite put my finger around the problem but something just aint right with Little Taiwan. I'm not sure whether it's because they are a "Halal" restaurant as such not able to use ingredients normally used in authentic Taiwanese fare. Or maybe it's because they hire mainly foreigners in the kitchen who just are not able to grasp Chinese cooking. So many maybes... coz honestly, the food's pretty bad. I tried to pick out one good dish but there's none. The salty fried chicken's too salty and cold, the wanton dumpling soup noodles pretty bland, the kimchi noodle tastes weird, desserts are all overly sweet.. sorry, my experience weren't good. continue reading

Beef Claypot Hor Fun. The dry hor fun noodle was served in a claypot with beef slices and a piece of carrot and sweet turnip. A huge amount of beef pieces were given, these beef slices were tender and soft, just nice amount of fats and lean meat, it was melt-in-the-mouth type of texture. The meat can be stripped off easily. The noodle soya sauce was bland and slightly sticky. continue reading

I try to avoid this place because all the food was prepared by trained foreign workers, while is a trend now if you are dining in KL and Selangor area. The wantan mee noodle is flat and the wantan soup is super salty. The salty chicken tasted day-old and not fresh. The soup noodle is bland. The claypot lou shu fen is okay, the taiwan sausages are nice.Only the potato balls and fried salty chicken are acceptable, but usually you can't fail with fried stuff. The drinks are overpriced and super sweet. I had to request for ice twice to dilute the drink. Will not eat here unless there is no other choice. continue reading
