This time,I was alone and I'm so bored to live in hostel.Class has finished. So,I decided to hang out at One Utama Shopping Centre by myself,no friend,no gf.Reaching there,1st thing i want to do is eat. While searching,i found this Johnny Restaurant.I think it has been a long time ago since i eat there. So,I decided to go back there and refresh my memory back.I can say the waiter there is quite good.He welcomed me with smile and bring me to the respective table. He ask me whether I want to eat steamboat or not.I juz thinking since I was alone,it is not suitable to eat steamboat. So,I decided to eat rice there.Since I was very hungry,I choose to eat 2 rice!My 1st choice is BBQ chicken rice and 2nd is set chicken rice. They 2 both look almost same buat actually they are differ in which their rice and chicken are different. What I like the most is their chicken that is boneless and so delicious. The price is RM5.95 each.My beverages is cold milk. After finishing eating,I ask for my bill. While give my balance, they ask whether i'm satisfied or not.Of course I'm satisfied.Although the menu is very simple,it is very delicious too and the price also very suit and affordable.Next time I come,I will bring my family or friends to try their steamboat next.http://www.johnnyrestaurant.com/ continue reading

This place actually cost much cheaper than most places in 1 utama considering the environment and services given. Most noodles and fried rice cost RM5.90 per plate. And there are a set of new menu of fried rice cost RM6.90 but with alot more ingredients and a bigger portion. My first visit here, I had the beef noodles, but didn't quite like it. The noodles were cold and it doesn't look very appetizing. However after my second visit, i quite like this place. The pineaple fried rice tasted good. You can even request it to be cooked vegetarian. The flavouring was sufficient. Secondly I ordered the tomyam bihun noodles. Because this place focuses on Thai food alot, I would aspect their tom yam noodles to be quite similar to those in Thailand. It was. It had a good aroma in the soup with 2 large prawns in it. And the bihun was plenty. This was a little sour for me, but it is quite authentic. Overall i thought the fried rice tasted better than the noodles here, especially those green noodles. For desserts it is recommended if you take the mixed dessert, which has the attap seed, with jack fruits and water chestnuts for RM2.90 per bowl. Although it's a pretty small bowl, but it is unique. The bill comes with 10% service charge and some government tax. But I still find this place cheaper than the food court in jusco 1 Utama. continue reading
