Signature Dishes
Unbeknown to me, my neighbour was also a fan of Roti Man Bakery. Since she worked nearby the shop, it was easy for her to grab the cake before she went back home. The day after Father’s Day, she gave us a quarter of the Black Forest Cake to sample. I must say that I somehow prefer the Black Forest over the Passionate Papa, as I am a great fan of chocolate. The cake was adorned with whole juicy strawberries, and covered with cocoa dust. Hidden in the layers of dark chocolate sponge was a pile of cream with dark sweet pitted cherries that was truly divine. Definitely recommended.

It was such a pleasant sight the moment I laid my eyes on these alluring desserts. Here we have the Cream Puffs and Fruit Cake in the house! Oh by the way, they came from the bakery by the name of The Roti Man Bakery. Isn’t that naming a quirky one, with some sense of amiability? ^^ Well, at least it appeals to me very much Not only the five mini cream puffs are adorable, but every bite of the puffs makes you feel like you’re on the cloud nine. The puff exterior are actually dusted with some castor sugar, which is very fine and that reminds me of Christmas season, which is going to greet us again in about 3 months time, hehe. The filling of the cream puff is very much creamy and milky. It somehow resembles the same fare from Beard’s Papa, but this is slightly richer, which I love it so much! Fret not as it is not overly sweet as well. Yum yum!As for the Fruit Cake, it is nicely and vibrantly garnished with fresh fruits. You can get a hand on some grapes, peach slices, kiwis, strawberries and green apple too. The kiwis are exceptionally very sweet and not sour. The cake itself has a very soft and fluffy texture, which is also layered in between with some fruits bites mixed in cream. You won’t feel too creamy as they are using fresh milk base, so it’s definitely good to go! Guess whole lots of nutrients to add in your dessert diet! ^^
