The black pepper chicken taste not bad. For black pepper lover, you can have a try this dish. This dish is quite rich in black pepper furthermore the chicken is tender and juicy too. When you chew the chicken, the black pepper juice from the chicken comes out from the chicken. This dish is not really salty for me, and they used some vegetables in this dish such as tomatoes, long bean and so on.

The spicy fried rice in Pormtip really does live up to its name. Even at the first bite, I was already stunned by the spiciness of the dish. The fried rice is garnished with strips of scrambled eggs at the top. It is also served with some prawn crackers and 2 slices of cucumber and 1 slice of tomato which presumably may help with the spiciness. The dish has a nice flavour and taste to it, but I would certainly enjoy it more if it was not that spicy. It has chicken and mixed vegetables among others in the dish. This dish costs RM8.80.

I always order the same thing when i come here cos i like it sooo much Tom Yum Goong and Green Curry Beef! The rest i had mixed orders and so far everything came out satisfactory.I came here for the occasional lunch or dinner and usually order the dishes with white rice for about 4 pax. I've once tried the phad thai, but its far from what i expected to taste - like the one i had in thailand Service is slightly slower than expected sometimes, even when there were only like 2 tables left to serve and you end up waiting for 30 minutes for your food.

A bit of Thai food craving brought me up to this shop.Lovely red tom yam soup with seafood. The portion is enough for two. With lemongrass and other spices, the aroma was just lovely, and went well with the rice~I heart the pandan chicken. Tender and juicy, full of pandan flavour.Its RM10 thought for 4 pieces which is expensive in my opinion. It was nice itself without the chili sauce.White rice at RM1.50 per plate, not refillable.Their butter prawn, fried with egg crisps. The saltish egg crisps was lovely, and there were many prawns of medium - large size, It was fresh, and did not have any icky taste. The egg crisp went along very well...Just wondering where the butter went RM15.Take note though, they charge for EVERY SINGLE GLASS of water. We asked for cold water refill, and they charged us for another glass instead of just a topup. Expensive, a once in a while splurge, if you ask me

Here at Pormtip Thai restaurant I have ordered the otak otak. A classic nyonya dish that is a cake made of fish meat and spices. It is served wrapped inside a banana leaf. The otak otak was very delicious and also had a nice aroma after it had been cooked.
