Mr Teppanyaki used to have quite a lot of branches in Klang Valley a decade ago; and I used to frequent their outlets at Mid Valley and Endah Parade Sri Petaling which has sadly closed down since. So I was happy to found out they still operates an outlet at Tropicana City Mall. Yaay I don't like beef; so I almost always order Chicken.. I love it that their chicken are grilled just right, and coupled with the veges and the sauce they make a real good Teppanyaki dish. I love it!

Signature Dishes
Came to Tropicana City Mall recently to shop at Carrefour. Before the shopping begins, we stopped by for lunch first. After all, shopping needs much energy especially when pushing the trolley! So, conveniently located near the hypermarket is Mr Teppanyaki. I have always been a fan teppanyaki, and Mr Teppanyaki offers a good variety and convenience.I ordered the beef teppanyaki which comes with the chunks of beef cubes, and vegetables teppanyaki. The entire dish had a strong aroma of fried garlic and pepper. Somehow, I do feel that this particular outlet cooks it better than other outlets. The dish also comes with a bowl of miso soup and rice. The soup was alright, nothing special but with MSG. The rice was decent too, not too moist which is exactly how I like mine.The beef was cooked well, as it was not too tough, nor was it too raw. It was juicy, and coupled with the vegetables, it makes a good balanced and delicious meal.
