Had a quick dinner at Wok Sifu, ordered the Red Tea (flavourful to taste), XO fried Rice and P  Fried Spagetti with Beef HK Style which both taste good. Also ordered Hai Wo Roll on Appertizer menu - something simple and but nothing to shout out about it.Overall good meal. continue reading

Don and I dropped by Wok Sifu at JUSCO Metro Prima to give it another shot, despite the past incident that took place at the exact location prior to its renovation. It is a restaurant that operates similarly to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, which it comes with a slogan, "To taste Hong Kong, taste in Wong Kok".Wok Sifu was promoting set dinner during our visit, valid from 6pm to 9pm. Each set meal came with a main meal of your choice from a list stated on the menu, and a cup of drink. By adding only RM1, you can easily enjoy an extra bowl of Mushroom Soup.Don's Pork Dolsot Bee Beem Bab has a weirder name than how it usually is in most Korean restaurants, the bibimbap. It is a signature Korean dish that is literally translated as mixed rice, topped with several types of vegetables and it often comes together with gochujang, a type of Korean hot pepper paste in red. Honestly, though, the one served at Wok Sifu may be considered fine as a bowl of ordinary mixed rice, but it is far from being a Korean dish. His set dinner came together with a cup of Iced Hong Kong Style Yin Yong, a mixture of coffee and tea, at RM16.50 per set, and a bowl of Mushroom Soup that popped out of nowhere without us being charged. Many restaurants that offer Hong Kong cuisine tend to have huge variety of food on the menus, causing difficulty in choosing merely one every darn time. Thus, I had no choice but to go for my usual selection, the Cheese Baked Rice with Chicken Chop. I thought it was okay, without extraordinarily good or bad savor, except the fact that it's extremely filling for a smaller eater. My set with a cup of Iced Hong Kong Style Milk Tea cost similarly as Don's, plus a bowl of Mushroom Soup that you could easily grab from the supermarkets and make one of your own at home.In my opinion, Wok Sifu hadn't changed much ever since my second-to-last visit. Everything remained, and the prices were still within the range. Similar food of better quality with more affordable prices could certainly be found elsewhere. Perhaps it would be a great place to dine in at, only if you are out of some better choices for a meal. pork ribs riceThis is the pork ribs rice. The pork ribs is fried to a perfect tender. It's so tender and still juicy. The brocoli is quite freshbut only one piece there. They added the sweet corn again.I like this very much.Taste fresh and sweet. But for me, the pork ribs is nice but too dry.No sauce at all and how to finish the whole bowl of white rice if no sauce on it?Too dry for me. continue reading

I went this shop with my sister that day. This is my first time here. They serve Hong Kong and Cantonese Style dishes, a bit similar to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng restaurant type. It is suitable for family dining or fine dining. My sister ordered this Stewed Pork Rice. I thought this would taste normal. But to my surprise, me and my sister actually like this dish. They mixed the minced pork with onions well. It is a bit salty. But the taste is acceptable for us. It is only RM6.90.I ordered the Clear Noodle Soup with Spicy Chicken Chop. However, the fried chicken was not really spicy. The noodle is tang tang noodles. I think this dish is normal only. It costs RM8.90. The portion of fried chicken is a lot. continue reading

wok sifu is located inside the jusco metro prima.it's somewhere at kepong.Wok sifu is a chinese style restaurant that offer wide variety of chinese food. This is the milk tea.Not nice i would say.The milk tea is not rich and not thick. No taste on it and the tea taste is so weak. What a milk tea and this milk tea can't even fight with the mamak milk tea.Too bad and yet they dare to charge for such a expensive price.2 times more expensive than the milk tea outside and taste is also 2 times weaker than that.So dissapointed. continue reading
