Are you a durian-lovers? There is no doubt to try this durian dessert with vanilla ice cream topping. It is innovative with the combination of traditional local style and western style. The dessert is served with banana leaf which is our local style under the dessert. Durians, the Malaysia's fruit king is wrapped inside the brownish crispy poh piah with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream served.First, take a bite at the fried poh piah, and next you will hear the crunchy sound. Then, here comes the golden-yellowish durian surging the way out. Omg!! Delicious!!! And then, taste the vanilla ice-cream. Perfect dessert!!It is the ice being grinned by machine into a snowy-like shaved ice with strawberries topping making the whole dessert crimson-red. Trust me, it was so attractive that it totally stimulated my appetite and almost began to drool. Scooped it with your teaspoon and it melt instantly in your mouth. It tasted so sweet and cold. Since ice is tasteless, it is awesome with the pleasant taste of strawberries covered the shaved ice. The strawberries topping were frozen strawberries. Well, it definitely suit the name "Strawberry Snowy". It was cool to have it especially during the hot weather in Malaysia.
