Whoa.. another of my favorite. Just as how the actual Wasabi paste will give people that initial shock the moment his/her tongue touches it...surprisingly Planet Popcorn's Wasabi-Flavored Popcorn have quite similar effects That said, after popping a few into the mouth, you'll definitely get used it! Love the tangy-spicy wasabi flavoring which goes perfectly with the crunchy, sweet popcorns. continue reading

Planet popcorn has a few outlet in major shopping malls. Its stall is in a small kiosk selling only popcorns. they have variety of popcorn flavours from original(the one like in cinema),caramel, seaweed, chocolate, wasabi, cheese, coffee, curry and kimchi. They provide free testing in their kiosk where you can taste which one you like. The one i always buy is cheese flavour, it have a little bit salty and mixture of sweet. Simply addictive you can enjoy your movie at home and eat popcorn! Also, you don't have to worry on the popcorn will masuk angin because the packaging you can clip the sealer zip. I also have a privelege card where after 10 packs you buycan get 1 for free. continue reading

This is the first time I eat this popcorn, which most of my friend give a good rating for it. They have several flavour, which included original, caramel, cheese, wasabi, seaweed, chocolate and newest flavour kimchi. The staff recommend me to eat the kimchi, wasabi and seaweed before original, where through it we will found out the amazing taste of the original flavour. continue reading

Planet Popcorn is the latest popcorn brand to join the bandwagon in Malaysia's popcorn craze. We are talking about better quality popcorn than those you find in supermarkets. These are bigger in size and there are no popcorn seeds to deal with which I like. One of the flavours that I find very addictive is the Seaweed flavour. I thought seaweed is everyone's favourite but apparently I heard comments from friends who doesn't take to the taste of the seaweed popcorn well. So it's a love or hate thing I guess. For me, it was really an enjoyable experience chewing each kernel as I find the seaweed flakes coating it tasting mildly sweet with a nice seaweed tinge which somehow just made me want to eat even more. There was also a buttery tone to the popcorn taste and the kernels are crunchy and crispy but taste slightly less sharp unlike Garrett's popcorn. There are about 6 or 7 outlets around klang valley. The setup at each outlet is quite simple with only a small shoplot or kiosk. The one at Berjaya Times Square has staff that are attentive and friendly. I ordered my popcorn and got it within 10 minutes. The bucket and small packs keeps the popcorn from getting soft for longer periods with their airtight packing. continue reading

Fact, the only time I eat popcorn is when I go for movies and the only popcorn I have ever tried are those from cinemas. When I noticed this outlet selling popcorn's of different varieties, I was intrigued. All this while I only thought popcorn comes in original and caramel flavors. The salesgirl gave me a sample from every flavor of popcorn they sell and I was hooked onto the seaweed flavor. The popcorn was slightly sweet and had seaweed flakes all over it. It was like eating japanese seaweed but in popcorn form and the saltiness of the seaweed balance out the sweetness of the syrup on the popcorn. I wonder if I can smuggle these into cinemas the next time I go for a movie. continue reading
