Sam Kan Chong has come a long way since the world war 2 in Malaya. It used to be a little shop in Kuala Lumpur in between 2 other shops, hence locals named it as Sam Kan Chong which means 3 Adjacent shops. The restaurant design is moderate. I have ordered 3JC Homemade Noodle in Soup. You can choose from 5 type of mee, which is Homemade Noodle, Kuay Teow, Lo See Fun, Bihun, or mix. I would recommend the home made noodle as it is more chewy compare with the nomal yellow noodle. The noodles comes with black sausage aka blood sausage, topped with some minced pork and 6 pieces of meat balls. I am satisfied with the noodles here, the ingredient is fresh, soup is nice and the homemade noodle is chewy. Overall, I think the food here is good and the price is reasonable. continue reading

Wifey wanted something different, so she ordered the curry mee hoon. I was surprised to see that the bowl of curry noodles has quite a lot of ingredients in it. There were the usual juicy and delectable pork paste balls, taupok, succulent meat sausages, long beans and beansprout. The only grouse was that there were no cockles. Other than that, the curry was quite nice, though not very spicy. It was full of coconut milk flavour. There was also a small plate of stir-fried pickled vegetables, peanuts and long beans which complemented the noodles well. Priced at RM9.90, it was quite well worth the amount paid. continue reading

There are many people ordering this dry noodle so we would like to try it out!Food served with a bowl of meatball soup, cool, 6 meatballs huh! hehe! The noodle is normal, however, when eating with the sausage comes along with, the sausage add extra favour when the noodle trying to melt in our mouth! You can have it with the serve green chili too! Very local taste of food, great! Now I know why so many people ordering this! ^.^Environment is clean and staff are friendly! continue reading

I had try their signature homemade noodles ,that serves along with their home made fish balls and topped with minced meat. The minced pork on top of the noodles is quite nice but and i decided to ordered extra side dish of this which cost only RM3 per bowl. The minced meat is well seasoned before cook and it gives extra fragrance to the noodles or 'yong tau fu'.However it is quite dry and i prefer to add some sauce into it before eating. continue reading
