Café Barbera的pizza都蛮不错的，这一款Spicy Lamb Pizza也是非常的好。薄薄的饼皮，咬起来非常的脆口。pizza上面的用料也非常的足够。有很多新鲜的羊肉碎和甜甜的洋葱卷。pizza是辣的，可是辣味适中，是大家可以接受的辣度。一个pizza的价钱是RM29。

他们的这款Black Pepper Lamb with rice & Acar就是有点道地料理的感觉。因为有非常道地的饭和Acar。 他们的Black Pepper Lamb的辣度跟味道都非常到位。而且口感非常有嚼劲，肉质比较松，入口即化。非常引人胃口。

这一款的River Prawn Mee 味道还蛮不错，他们的面条吃起来非常的有嚼劲。里面的食材也非常的足够，有不少的蔬菜，最终要的是他们的虾子都非常的大只，而且新鲜肥美。一碟吃得饱饱的River Prawn Mee要RM29，是有点贵。

Last year, the branch here used to have 'drink all you can coffee' promotion, forgotten the price but I certainly remember it comes with a serving of chocolate fondant per pax. I have always loved lasagna, a dish with pieces of pasta layered with tomato based minced meat sauce, even better and sinful but delicious with melted cheese. The version here at Cafe Barbera did not dissapoint me. The lasagna slices were perfectly cooked and baked. Besides from those popular ice blended coffee drinks that can be taken as dessert after meal, this applies to affogato as well. Rich creamy vanilla ice cream with one shot of espresso, that prides the beauty of affogato.My friend tasted this and told me that the taste here is very much similar to the ones in Italy. Came here for tea time the other day and based on my partner's recommendation, we decided to share a chocolate fondant as we were not that hungry. We ordered a cup of latte to go along with the chocolate fondant. The chocolate fondant was quite small but it gave off a wonderful chocolaty aroma when served and the contents in the center poured out when we poke our forks into the chocolate fondant.

Being one of the "chef recommendation", I had the expectation that it would at least be decent but terrifyingly, I was wrong. The highlight of the dish itself was the disaster of all. What supposedly to be moistened and flaky (super fine though) tuna loaf was contradicting every criterion I had set my expectation on. It was dry, coarse, as if I was eating wood stick. Rolled smoked duck salad is quite an interesting salad - the salty and mildly gamey duck breast is stuffed with a basic salad - easy to pop into the mouth and eat.I love their soups. The mushroom soup is chunky, fragrant, and medium-thickness. Goes well with the (very little) crispy garlic bread that comes with it.The pumpkin soup is somewhat creamier, but not ultra smooth yet not chunky enough (I prefer it a little coarse and chunky).

Cafe Barbera's ideology when it comes to Italian food seems to be this: make it creamier, therefore it will taste better.Their pizzas are so richly creamy with cheese - I would prefer the other ingredients to take center stage instead though. Props to them for preparing their dough fresh, but too bad they don't use a wood fire oven for that smokey taste which their pizzas are lacking.

Pear crumble at Cafe Barbera seems to be their attempt at being different. Can't say I'm displeased at all. The pear crumble is indeed crumbly and the sweetness of baked pear is a great alternative to apple. Pear has a more subtle, complex sweetness while apple is more direct and intense.One of my preferred desserts at Cafe Barbera, when I'm not in the mood for their extremely good chocolate fondant.

You can make your tiramisu creamy, like they did at Cafe Barbera...You can make your tiramisu chocolatey on top, like they did at Cafe Barbera...You can decorate your tiramisu with a sliced strawberry, like they did at Cafe Barbera...You can do almost everything by the book with your tiramisu, like they did at Cafe Barbera...... but if you do not put any form of liquor or liqueur (yes they are two different things) in your tiramisu, it will never surpass "quite nice" and into the realm of the "w

Not many non-steakhouses I know of serve grilled tenderloin. Quite a risky item to make. Generally I found this quite tender and not chewy, but overly heavy use of cream sauce turned me off. I like my tenderloin with minimal sauce (or at least savoury sauce) and medium well.If you can't eat your meat bloody and need something fully cooked but not tough, this is for you. As for me, I'm a steak purist.

Quite an interesting dish, Cafe Barbera's chicken parcel is chicken thigh with spinach, carrot, capsicum, turkey ham and mozzarella cheese, served with mashed potato and mushroom sauce.It is overall very creamy, full of chunky textures, and a wide range of vegetable flavours on a canvas of tender chicken thigh. This is very much comfort food and though not very exciting, is quite satisfying.

It seems to easy for so many cafes to make pasta that comes out very predictable and unexciting - and Cafe Barbera is no different in that regard. Typical overuse of cream displeases me.The salmon aglio almost tasted like a bit of carbonara with all that cream.I already generally disapprove of most carbonara in Malaysia (done with too much cream), and especially so when they use beef bacon. There are only a few exceptions, but this isn't one of them.
