This place has a lot of hype through Facebook and Twitter. However overall I would give it just an average rating. They serve decent briyani and banana leaf rice. Wished there was more meat though in the briyani. Price wise on par with most places serving similar dishes. They do serve a mean lassi. Rich and creamy.Service was good and friendly. Environment clean and inviting. Worth a visit.

The spices from the mutton hit you not at the tongue, but at the back of the throat; and the mutton itself is really tender. Serving portions are deceptively big - don't be fooled by the "dum".

The trimmings of raita and papadum complete the meal very well.

With an assortment of selection for the briyani, they certainly are awesome enough to be shortlisted Best Cheap Eats and Best Indian of the Time Out KL Food Awards last year. The aroma of the rich spiced briyani and chicken instantly triggered the saliva gland as tearing the dough to remove the lid when it was wafting though the steam.

The rice was harmoniously accompanied by fiercely hot curry and vegetable dishes. When the fragrant from the briyani meets the powerful flavour of the curry, it was a pièce de résistance. The hustling from the surrounding momentarily freezes for that few seconds before I greedily dug into my meal.

Of course, we must not cut short the signature dish when representing the Indian Cuisine. Banana leaf rice is probably on top of the list when referring to the Indian cuisine. The Fierce Curry House did not fall too far behind ferocious when serving the banana leaf rice.

Serving beautifully on silver plates with cut out banana leafs beneath each dishes did not represent authenticity of this dish, but it is inevitably neat and clean looking. The dishes were supple to compliment the otherwise underwhelming and least impressive white rice which was too hard to my liking.

Next in line is the Fierce Tandori Chicken which was amazing when the lime bring out the flavour of the tasty pieces of chicken. The chicken had a perfect moist which tantalizingly addictive to polish every single piece of bones within the chicken.

Certainly living up to the name of the restaurant, I must admit the spicy level is slightly above majority Indian restaurants in town. But fear not, as the beverage covers a variety of Malaysian favourite as well as authentic Indian recipes.Having looking ordinary on the outside, every nook in this restaurant is decorated with effort to please dinners and creating comfortable zone for customers to enjoy delicious Indian dishes.Presented with a bold signature on the shop facing the road, it is not difficult to miss this exciting sensation. I am returning for the Lobster Briyani in no time so let’s watch out for the burning excitement very soon.

Love, Sycookies

Fruity kiwi and orange lassi, for something refreshing to balance all the heavy food.

Me and a few of my friends were very excited to try this new place which was having a promotion on a coupon company. So we bought some and set an adventure (because we rarely venture out of PJ area for food). It was a bit hard for us to find. After 2 wrong turns, we found the Fierce Curry House.

There weren't a lot of people and we made reservations so the food arrived pretty fast and piping hot! We were taught how to peel off the dough from the steel bowls. We were told that the dough will help to contain the aroma inside the steel container. After we manage to peel off the dough, voila, we were surrounded by aromatic briyani rice!! It's so aromatic and intriguing and it's something that I'm not exposed to before. The content inside the bowl was moist but not too soft and filled with strong spices to make the briyani super nice to eat. In fact I didn't mix much of the curry that were served together because it taste so good even on its own. Although it's strong with spices, its not really spicy. We were sorta misled by the name of the restaurant haha! But nontheless, it was a nice experience! There were also a generous amount of chicken. Although the bowl seems small but it was compact and we couldn't finish the rice!

The owner came to talk about other meat that they are serving with the rice on different days. They even have prawns, sotong and lobster variations but upon reservations and availability. I would visit this place more often if it's situated nearer to my area. Hopefully they will open a branch in PJ soon!

They neglected to reserve our mutton biryani despite us calling to reserve it, so we only got chicken biryani; but they were so apologetic, that our table was overloaded with food by the end of our late lunch.

The biryani looks small but it's not small at all. Very filling, especially after having some vegetables on the side.

It came with a sealed stainless steel pot where the briyani was cooked with the chicken and mixture of herbs. You can tell if the briyani is cooked by the look of dough but surely I couldn't tell

Each briyani came in long and slim profile, with a little chewy and firm texture. The herbs were prevalent and I love the smell of herbs very much. The tender chicken chunks were well buried within the piles of briyani. Gosh, I was so full after working through half way of my briyani! It needs to be shared if you are a small eater.

When you go to a Chinese restaurant it is very rare that they would fry bitter gourd. As far as I know of, only Indian restaurant does it that way. I like the fried bitter gourd to be crispy and hot on the outside, but soft in the inside. Most importantly the bitter gourd shall not be bitter and flavoured with the right mixture of herbs. This fried bitter gourd was so soggy that I did not feel like eating it after the first bite. Surely it looked like it had been cooked since the morning.
