By now, most would have noticed that there has been massive influxes of ramen outlets, each serving its own specialties and uniqueness. Tokyo Street at Pavillion KL, being the most prominent one-stop centre showcasing all sorts of Japanese products, including varieties of Ramen restaurants too. If you are seriously looking for a good bowl of authentic ramen in wholesome tonkotsu broth, Goku Raku Ramen is bound to live up to your expectation.
This ramen oasis is conveniently located at Level 2, Mid Valley Megamall, with its orangey circular bold sign. It raises the bar when it comes to ramen-dining experience as the eminent ramen connoisseur, Mr. Teruhisa Shimizu, firstly introduces his unique "Horikiri Style" ramen with broth that boats a very exquisite taste over a long simmering hours.
If you are looking for a good bowl of delish ramen, this is the place to go. Compared to the many ones available at Tokyo Street, this prooves to be a great competitor in terms of the flavorful broth and homemade ramen. Coupled with anothe recommended items, its Char Siew, is far more than juicy. Tenderness and melting Kakuni is one fare you should try it out.

If I have a ramen craving and I happen to be in Mid Valley, this is the place to go. The place is air conditioned and serves pretty decent ramen. Love the tasty soup broth, spring onions, bamboo shoots, fat pork slices and marinated soft-boiled egg. I usually ask for no tauge as I dislike tauge in my ramen. I recommend the tonkotsu ultimate ramen as it has pretty much everything I love, which are everything mentioned above with a slice of seaweed.  I've also tried the Tokyo Beauty set, but I do

I've also tried the Tokyo Beauty set, but I do not fancy it as I prefer the pork soup served here instead of the chicken and the collagen ball that comes with this meal was pretty icky.

How to eat ramen and still feel hungry:1. Go to Goku Raku2. Make the mistake of ordering a small bowl (options: small, medium, and large)Yeap, it's very small. But delicious! The soup is salty and porky, and the noodles are soft and eggy. The pork isn't a whole lot, but it's tender, and has enough meat, though still quite fatty. There's an onsen egg in there too, which makes this ramen pretty decent value for just a bit over RM20.

This is not a Japanese style of dessert, but it looks good also. It is made of custard base with some lemon flavor, this dessert is come together with the ramen set. On top of it there sugar, sugar that being burnt off. The taste is sweet and bitter, the sugar have been over burnt a bit. The custard is very smooth and soft in taste, little sweet but taste not bad. The hot green tea that ordered is not hot enough when served, it does not give the good taste of the green tea suppose to have. The h

This restaurant is located at the corner, the indoor is design nicely but look small. It is not crowded on the day we visit, but the service of the waitress is a bit slow. There is two type of soup you can choose from, either pork or chicken soup base and you can choose whether to have it original, soy sauce or miso. The noodle is cooked till just nice, tender and too hard when you chewed. The soup taste is strong, miso taste is a bit salty too. There are also half cooked egg and pork slices ser

Instead of the tonkatsu soup that taste more light with sweetness of pork essence, i;d tried this one with the gokuraku soup base- which taste more rich and concentrated with thick flavour meat. I found that the soup is a little too salty when you taste the soup untill the bottom of the bowl. I had a green tea that cost rm2 each glass to balance up to lessen up the taste of salty. Some might found that the soup base is very nice , it depends on personal opinion.

I'd tried once of their ramen and i found that i'm in love with the char siew " bbq pork" that comes with every ramen. So , this time, i'd ordered their Char Siew ramen, which comes with alot of char siew on top. Apart from the bamboo shoot, seaweed and eggs, they gave me few slice of char siew with their homemade sauce. You can choose the flavour of the soup and i prefer to try on their original soup other then miso soup or soyu soup. Their egg are marinated in their special sauce after cooking.

位于Mid Valley Megamall 的Goku Raku Ramen名字响当当。吃过的朋友们都极力介绍。untimate ramen是我的first try. 味道不错,分量刚刚好,而且汤的口味还可以自己选。叉烧但配料是个精明的搭配。叉烧的味道不会太浓,依旧可以吃到面的味道。而且面质爽口!

i kinda love their eggs with the soft yolks, which cost only 1 Ringgit only. Extra char siew is only 2 Ringgit as a side dish if you order the ramen. Taste really yummilicious, you must add into your ramen ! Goku Raku Ramen japanese restaurant here they serve western dessert, rare cheese cake. Their cheese taste not that strong as american cheese cake. Cheese cake here taste slightly light, but very smooth and soft.

Gokuraku Ramen soup taste actually similar like tonkutsu ramen as well. The soup base have a amazing fragrance smelling and some contain garlic, leek oil, taste really yummy flavour. It does not taste like msg laden soup, i cant resist myself to drink whole bowl of the ramen soup, and you might like it too. I love their Ramen, taste a bit good and chewy, egg just a bit over cooked.

Their waiter strongly recommend best seller here Tonkotsu Ramen. The prices is about 21 ringgit for one bowl, i can said that quite worth, if compare with another japanese restaurant. Tonkotsu Ramen their soup basic of black fungus, spring onion, leek, bamboo shoot, and seaweed. We asked for a bowl of Ultimate Tonkotsu Ramen which mean are includes char siew and flavoured egg.
