Wantan mee. Meng Kee is famous for its melt-in-mouth char siew. That afternoon, apart from their signature char siew, I ordered the wantan mee as well. The wantan mee came with two fried wantan and two wantan in soup. The deep fried wantan was crispy and slightly salty. The wantan in soup was not too big but it was moist and not bad. The wantan mee was not too salty, slightly sweet.

The waiter recommended us to have the broiled beansprouts as a complement to our roasted pork and roasted chicken meal. Feeling a bit guilty just scarfing down carbs, we agreed. The portion of the beansprouts for two people is really big. Served with some soya sauce base, and garnished with some fried onions, the beansprouts were merely acceptable as both of us thought that it was slightly overcooked.

Although Meng Kee Char Siew prides itself on its char siew, they also serve roasted and steamed chicken. No siew yuk though. We decided to order the roasted chicken, drumstick part for two people. The chicken came no frills, just with some soya sauce base. It was absolutely delectable. The only drawback is that the skin is no longer connected to the meat. Tender and succulent, this definitely deserved a thumbs-up!

A colleague and I were around the Glenmarie area and we decided to visit Restoran Meng Kee Char Siew, touted as one of the best char siew shops around Klang Valley. 有名叫明记叉烧王所以来到一定要点这里的叉烧，明记的叉烧肥瘦参半，吃起来肉很松软，叉烧的外皮烧的很香脆，而里面的肉还保持得很多汁，能说得上外脆内软，而且叉烧不会太甜，所以吃多几块都不会觉得腻。。

No one can deny the presence of meng kee when mentioned about char siew. This restaurant is like serve one of the best char siew in town. However, good char siew doesn't come cheap. I remember one time come here in a group of 5, our total lunch cost around 100. That's a very expensive price for a lunch. But the char siew has a very thick crispy honey skin and when you bite it, it is very soft. You will get addicted to the char siew. Due to the price constrain, it is better to hold it back while

Meng Kee Char Siew is famed for its fragrant roasted pork and barbecued meat. I went all the way to Shah Alam very early in the morning just for this and it indeed didn't disappoint me.The barbecued pork is very sweet and the sauce is really thick and has a melt-in-the-mouth texture. The layers of fatty and lean meat are well proportioned too. Best taken with fragrant rice.
