Old Town is one of my favourite places to dine in after I came here for the first time with a friend. He brought me here and told me that the mee curry is marvelous. The place was comforatble and the service was satisfying. So I tried what he recommended but I ordered Kuey Teow instead of mee. It was spicy but I have never tasted a delicious curry like that before and I fell in love with it since then. The meat was sweet as if it was marinated. I enjoyed the whole meal till the last kuey teow!

The tom yam crabsticks mee hoon in Old Town White Coffee is quite delicious. The tom yam soup, although tasted like it came from an instant packet, was well matched with the crabsticks’ sweetness. The soup was a bit too spicy for me, but hubby said it was fine as it gives enough kick to the bowl of noodles. The mee hoon was cooked just right, not too overcooked. Served with some greens and fishcakes, it was not too bad.
