I saw this galleria from the outside and it looks very elegant something like Elegantalogy restaurant. I was drawn to enter it but my friend dislikes Chatime whereas I just would like to enter to experience the ambience. It seems like the drinks here are priced similar with the rest of the branches but the difference lies in the ambience. Compared to the usual small Chatime on-the-go outlets like those in the malls and in some shoplots, this one is amazing. All I can say is it is full of so much
It seems like the drinks here are priced similar with the rest of the branches but the difference lies in the ambience. Compared to the usual small Chatime on-the-go outlets like those in the malls and in some shoplots, this one is amazing. All I can say is it is full of so much space and very creative furniture, that suits the cool, young and trendy urbanite yuppie crowds. People even use this as a business area as there are sockets for you to plug in your computers. The best part is the silence in the place. At one corner there is a jukebox which you can play any music in the world for free, as it uses an app which is similar like what we use for ipods, though a bigger version. All these for the normal price of Chatime, as low as RM 4.90! How cool is that? That is even more affordable than going to starbucks of coffee bean where the price of a coffee is exorbitant but the environment at Chatime Galleria beats those. Cooler, trendier, cosier, most importantly they have fantastic places to discuss things, as there are long meeting tables (with very creative drawings on top), long dining tables with seats stuck to the wall, even a stage for possibly, music corner like Wings Cafe in the making, outdoor alfresco dining etc. One needs to order the drinks outside and once you enter inside, you are transported into a different art gallery.
There are magazines conveniently placed for leisure reading. At every nook and corner is a comfortable seat, from high chair to diner, to sofa, to bench, to bar tables, to normal canteen style tables.
On the wall are quirky paintings.
Totally wonderful place for hangout. But it seems every outlet is different because the Chatime Galleria in Uptown is not that special and has more of a retro feel with a hotel luggage trolley and jukebox to boot.
As for the drink, we had redbean macha which is not bad. It is known as the bestseller here so we ordered this for RM 7.90
