Uncle Lim’s Café is our place to go for lunch whenever my partner and I wants to watch a movie at Subang Parade. They serve relatively good quality food and the environment of the café is fairly clean and comfortable. Uncle Lim's Cafe is located at Ground Floor of Subang Parade. It is a modernize kopitiam which still preserve its old charm, that can take us into the future instead of fading away into oblivion. The environment is nice and comfortable. On a warm day, this beverage is actually quite refreshing. The soya cincau (grass jelly) ice in Uncle Lim's cafe is given a generous amount of grass jelly. The grass jelly here is the thin and long type, which can be easily sucked out by a regular sized straw. The soya drink is quite sweet and it has a delicious soya aroma to it. I ordered the Honey Lemon (Hot) as my throat was not feeling very well and I was coughing as well, so no cold drinks for me. The honey lemon hot was served boiling hot, and so I had to wait for it to cool down a little before I could even sip it. The kuey teow soup in Uncle Lim's cafe is generally decent. It's kuey teow is quite smooth although it is not the smoothest ever that I have tried. This bowl of kuey teow soup comes with many slices of chicken, fishballs, vegetables and garnished with fried shallot oil. The broth is not very flavourful, but it has some decent aroma and it is well salted. The chicken slices are not very smooth but passable. All in all, a decent bowl of kuey teow soup.

The nasi lemak in Uncle Lim's cafe comes with a piece of chicken rendang, a piece of sambal sotong and the other standard fanfares such as fried anchovies, peanuts, half of a boiled egg and cucumbers. The first thing I noticed is the huge chicken and the huge sotong given. The rice is fluffy with a decent coconut milk aroma. The rendang chicken is quite flavourful and the sambal sotong is very spicy. When both served with the rice, it is quite delicious. For RM10.90+, it is value for money.

Came by this restaurant for lunch one fine day and decided to order what appears to be their signature dish which is Uncle Lim's Laksa. This premise has a lot of flies especially at the tables. I am not sure the reason of the flies infestation but the restaurant needs to do something about it. 这里的otak-otak颜色很鲜艳，吃起来里面的鱼肉很小一块，不过味道是很香很实在的。可是呢，它大概是我吃过最小的otak-otak了。如果想要吃到齐全的马来西亚风味的食物，我觉得来到这里是没有错的。

这个asam laksa味道就是偏向比较酸的。汤头很浓郁，里面还有很多配料，还有黄梨块在里面。所以吃起来并没有负担，因为都是很开胃爽口。不过我觉得如果汤头添加多一点鱼肉的鲜味在里面就好了。

来到这里不难发现这里的顾客吃的差不多都是椰浆饭。可想而知这里的出名的就是椰浆饭了。我喜欢这个娘惹鸡，味道很浓郁，我只是吃这个就够我吃完整个饭了。那个味道真的是很够味。

I like to eat nasi lemak. A good nasi lemak, you able to smell the strong fragrance of coconut milk, a little bit spicy sambal. I can find that at Uncle Lim. The peanut and anchovies here are very crunchy. The rendang sauce here is very thick. It doesn't need to be spicy. It has the strong fragrance of rendang. Smell it itself is good enough to brings up your appetite. The sambal here is sweet. Chicken meat is totally tender and soft from inside out.

I like to eat Penang food. They are many varieties, many taste and most important, they are very delicious. This banana leaf wrap otak-otak is one of the signature food in Penang. Unlike muar otak-otak which is use to grill, this one actually is steam it. When you remove the toothpick and peel off the banana leaf, you can see the otak otak is very soft. The taste is sweet. When you eat it, you don't really need to chew it. It is like melt in your mouth leaving a very nice otak otak fragrance.

I come here for their nasi lemak because walking around and no idea what to eat. Well just go for something safe and familiarize in malaysia. Nasi Lemak there i go. Well of course with ayam rendang. This is like a boost to the nasi lemak. Normal sambal isn't enough for nasi lemak lover like me. THe chicken here is very soft and tender. The rice here with strong coconut milk aromatic is very nice. Sambal is sweet and spicy enough.

At Uncle Lim's cafe for lunch and decided to order Asam Laksa. In my opinion,their asam laksa is above average, but not as good as the one from Nyonya Colors. The asam laksa's broth is not thick and spicy enough. In fact, their broth is more on the sourish side which i do not favour. Anyhow, their prawn paste was good enough to add flavours to the noodle. There are pieces of mackerel fish, slices of cucumber, chilli, onion, lemon grass, and pineapple in this noodle.

Uncle Lim's cafe is a restaurant located at Ground floor Subang Parade. This is a restaurant that seems alike like other coffee house like georgetown or oldtown.
