Bored of porridge in Zhou Restaurant? Try the others. This tomyom seafood noodle is really nice. Sufficient spicy and taste. Good quantity in size. Using Taiwan Prince instant noodles. The sea food is really there, quite a lot. The big bowl will make you full. Enjoy the spicy and tasty tomyam noodle there.

Not only porridge is nice here but also the others. The duck feet are really tasty. It is soft enough and the source has penetrated into the skins perfectly. I really like it. The quantity is sufficiently big too. For the Duck dried noodles. The duck meat given is quite small in quantity, the taste is just so so. The noodle is quite ok in size and taste.

New Porridge Restaurant in SS2. This is originated from Penang and have a very nice name. For dinner, they provide 2 sets. One is for 4 people and another for 2 people. I ordered 4 people sets. We get 4 porridge, 2 side dishes and 4 drinks. There are 10 choices of porridges and we can choose 4 types. The porridges are really not bad, the tastes are up to standard. For side dishes, I like the Roasted Duck. The source comes together with the duck is quite nice.

Zhou's calling card: the creativity channeled through its congee. Here's where patrons can have piping-hot pumpkin porridge with frog legs (RM11.80 before taxes)

The set came with any choice of Bubble Milk Tea so I ordered the Oolong flavour which was not bad. There was the Oolong tea taste.

We also ordered the Aiyu Jelly with Aloe Vera and also Black Pearls which gave a very soothing and cooling feeling.

But my friend still thought eating Teo Chew porridge is better when sick.

I love porridge. But I do not really like having porridge at expensive restaurants especially if the porridge is the Cantonese type as I prefer the Hokkien watery style of porridge usually. I love porridge. But I do not really like having porridge at expensive restaurants especially if the porridge is the Cantonese type as I prefer the Hokkien watery style of porridge usually.

Anyway, my colleague happen to be crazy over porridge. So here we are the latest Porridge restaurant that supposedly replaced Hon Kee Porridge Restaurant at SS2.

When I saw the menu of so many varieties, I was so excited and I felt like I wanted to order everything! There was even porridge sets which is RM 15.80: Porridge with Bubble Milk Tea. The drink itself costs RM 6.90 ala-carte.

The porridge was amazing! I ordered the Lovely Passion Congee. In the menu, these special congee comes with very creative copyrighting saying:

Influence:

Advantages: caring, strong social networks, enthusiasm, interacts well with people, is a master of social.

OK, I am 100% sure that I did not order this due to the beautiful words. In fact, I am more drawn to the unique laksa flavoured porridge which I was eager to find out how it tastes like. When it arrived with har ko (black sauce for laksa), I was like, omg, I hate this sauce. Nevertheless, the taste of har ko and also the fish pieces sprinkled on top really gave it the authentic laksa taste. There were a lot of ingredients such as laksa paste, fish balls, fish, crabstick and golden mushrooms. The single portion claypot was too big for me so I could not finish it and had to pack back. The best part about the porridge here is that they are not stingy with ingredients.

My other colleagues ordered the Frog and Pumpkin porridge. The unique combination was quite tasty and the pumpkin contributed to the sweet taste.

Another colleague ordered the Monthly Promo Set with bubble milk tea/ The slight saltiness was quite tasty too.

Definitely making a comeback here to try the rest of the flavours especially the Steamboat Congee
