The bean curds used are Japanese bean curds, which I have to admit I super love. I love abalone mushrooms too, mainly because it's the much, much cheaper alternative to real abalones (haa haa.. though they don't exactly taste the same). Baked with cheese both ingredients tend to taste "creamy" which really need an acquired taste. I liked it, though I find it to be slightly fattening.. haa haa
