I heard so much about this place through blogs and then suddenly today, to make up my day, I decided to try a new place called Greenhouse by Muir which is located quite far away from my house. It is located at Jalan Nipah but to reach them properly and without getting lost like we did, I highly recommend that you waze Great Eastern Mall. There were so many people when we reached there that getting parking was difficult, and so is getting a table, or more suitably called, a seat. To my mother, sh
There were trolleys for you to put in your food, the same way Ikea does, except in slightly more expensive prices.
The only affordable thing is to eat the fried Japanese sets whereby you can pay RM 6.90 for the side dish of pickles and stir-fried vegetables, lemon, spring onions, small tofu, seaweed and miso soup. The soup was already cold when we drank it. One could add any deep fried food like tempura for RM 2.65 each, chicken teriyaki for RM 13, grilled salmon for more than RM 13, Karaage etc. The cheapest was tempura, shimsamo (RM 2) and also Karaage (less than RM 2). I loved the wasabi mayo and also sweet sauce.
For drinks, it was slightly more expensive costing more than RM 10 per cup of smoothie or cold drink. I ordered the Birthday tea which was very fragrant and was made from a lot of berries. The steamdunk brew version cost RM 13.78 whereby one pot was not refillable. The tea was incredible and intense. Too bad I could not refill it.
I saw the array of cakes and could not withstand not ordering. I ordered the Chocolate Caramel (RM 12.70) which was simply heavenly. I loved every inch of chocolate that melted in my mouth. Simply delectable. I am definitely coming back for the tea and cakes!
