Celebrating 1st of May Labour Day at M.O.F. is very enjoyable especially with my BFF for a day of shopping, enjoying food and also watching movies. My friend ordered her favourite grilled Salmon Teriyaki set which came with rice, stir-fried plain vegetables, miso soup, and 2 slices of watermelons. My udon set of RM 10.90 was not nice at all as the noodles were too long and sticky and the sauce has too much water, basically too much kuah. Mine came with a Japanese salad with fried chicken pieces.
We also ordered the raw butterfish sashimi, salmon sushi which cost about RM 1.90 to RM 4.90 only! The salmon sashimi came in 4 pieces and was so fresh and tasty at only RM 9.80, much cheaper from the one I ate at Puchong!
Whoever orders the set meals can order the desserts and drinks at a cheaper price. I ordered a Mocha Chocolate gelato which came with a waffle and also a cherry. The mocha was so thick and does wonders to the soul. It only costs RM 4.90.
My friend ordered the iced macha which came with a very dark green colour whereas I ordered the iced ocha for only RM 2.50. This place seems to be famous for macha, desserts and sashimi but the cooked food is not that great. For instance, the stir-fried cabbage that came with my friend's grilled salmon was too bland and lacked the normal teriyaki flavour.
