Paradise Dynasty is another culinary concept by Singapore-based Paradise Group that offers an exquisite yet affordable selection of northern and southern Chinese cuisine. It is located at Level 1 of Paradigm Mall. The first thing you see when reaching the restaurant is a glass walled kitchen filled with chefs in white uniforms and masks, busy hand pulling noodles and making dumplings. The restaurant is boasted with with China dynasty and history influences design concept. An indoor stream snakes through the centre of the restaurant, with the flowing water creating a balances, harmonious feel for diners. Their signature dish is the "Eight Flavors Xiao Long Bao", originated from Nan Xiang, also known as soup dumplings as each dumpling contains a flavoured broth. We have ordered 6 pieces of Original Xiao Long Bao. The hot broth in the dumpling is simply delicious, slowly bite in to one and enjoy the greatness taste of the dish. The La Mien with Pork Dumpling in Chili Sauce taste good too. Beware of the Succulent morsels of pork dumpling as it will spice up some heat on your taste bud. The La Mien with Stewed Beef Brisket is doused in a heavier and oily based soup. The broth is spicy but still bearable, the melt-in-the-mouth beefy brisket is simply tender. Both the Shanghai Fried Rice and Yang Zhou Fried Rice are just average, good breath of wok, but nothing much to shout about. They have a "tea server" who walks around pouring teas into your cup. The restaurant has a fantastic menu and nice ambience. But of course the price is more expensive than normal Chinese cuisine restaurant. Must orders are simply their Xiao Long Bao, La Mian.
