I was taking a bus to tour around George Town when a friendly Penangnite talked to me. He recommended me to stop by this place to try Penang's (And some say Malaysia's) best Cendol.

As a enthusiastic foodie, I would never let such an opportunity pass by, so I duly obliged and came off the bus to give this a try.

The crowd surrounding this humble 2 wheeled stall was quite a lot regardless that there was no space to sit and enjoy this dessert.

I went in to the coffeeshop and ordered the cendol from there and found that the price is 50c more expensive possibly for commission for the coffeeshop. If eaten outside standing the cendol costs RM2.10, but inside the coffeeshop it is RM2.60.

The cendol is awesome beyond words can describe. It is refreshing with the sweetness just right. It has a nice aromatic flavour from this cendol which most likely due to the Gula Melaka used. The cendol here is definitely the best that I have tried so far, and it is no coincidence that this stall has been a crowd puller for ages.
