Breakfast with my girlfriend on Sunday morning. This cup of Kopi-O is definitely affordable to drink by all Malaysians.Enjoyed the day with her and this is one of the tastier laksa (36 years heritage) I've had in Malaysia. Laksa lovers who will be in JB, do try this out within the basement of city square mall because it has traditional 古早味 laksa standard in Singapore.
The cafe was decorated in a stylish dark modern way. It was well known for its mille crepes, which was available in so many flavours that the cakes were displayed in 2 shelves. The place also offered free wifi. Water was available in the brown bottle on the tables.Mustang Durian Mille Crepe (RM9.50++) The cream filling was too rich but the durian taste was barely there. ...

My first try on the Tokyo Street No.1 Japanese Cheese Tart in Malaysia. Fresh baked upon ordering and they make in a batch. You need to wait 12 minutes in each batch. I love the fresh cheese tart, melt slowly inside my mouth. Crispy fluffy tarts with warm cheese. Totally worth RM 7.90 per piece and the queue to get it. Cool down with refreshing soft serve ice cream. Yummy...
La Casa Blanca has undoubtedly the best-known Moroccan food in Johor. With classic Moroccan prints lining the walls and the fragrant wafts of tagine in the air, this restaurant has an endearing, homely atmosphere that make guests feel welcomed. Of course, when at Casa Blanca, you have to try their famous tagines stews. It comes in fish, seafood, lebanese green bean stew, beef, lamb, eg...

Our lunch was started with mango salad and tom yam soup. The mango salad was sour due to the green mango and there are some hint of chili padi around it. The mango was crunchy. The tomyam soup was delicious. It was really soup and spicy. It consisted of clams, squid and fish fillet. This dish is a must-order when you dine here. The main dish was the King Rama V fried rice that was...
Pastel, a little cafe in a Setiawangsa shop-house.Tacos are also a speciality at Pastel, filled with lamb or beef for RM18 per plate of two.'Texas Burger' with hand-pressed beef patty (RM16); the tacos & burgers come with fries. Perhaps not memorable enough to specifically travel to Setiawangsa for, but probably worthwhile for folks who live or work here.
I love their soup base that is not peppery and not too overly herbal as well. It's just very savoury and tasty. You order the bak Kut Teh by the claypot and you can also add dishes like Braised Pork Knuckles and stir-fried vegetables with garlic. You can also choose to eat with plain white rice or their savoury yam rice. I would definitely choose the yam rice as it is so good you can...
It was years ago when we last visited Malacca. The memory was still fresh with their warm Japanese hospitality & the taste of the food still lingered on... I remembered very vividly that they had a drum at the restaurant's entrance. The staff would gave three strikes to announce every guest's arrival & shouts of "Irasshaimase!" would echoed throughout the restaurant from every staff...
Sri Malaya is a restaurant which is serving a wide range of western cuisines.Grill lamb chop This dish is the grill lamb chop. The sauce for the grill lamb chop is the black pepper sauce. It was very rich in pepper taste and will not be too spicy either. The lamb chop is tender and juicy too.
