Oyster King One Utama Smile Jul 04, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Seafood

Oyster King got 4 branches, and I visted the One Utama branch recently with my sister.
It is located at LG, and it was quite easy to locate it.

We ordered a set that come with lemon tea and soya bean.
Oyter King adopts a fast food chain concept.
It served us pretty fast except the Garlic Oysters. We ordered two plates!

Soup of the day, contains lala, vercimelli, chicken shreds, green onions.
Set meals price range from RM12-14. Taste nice!

Oyster Meehoon, added with chicken shreds and green onions. Taste is lovely but a bit salty to me, may be because i added the chili padi with soy sauce to it. worth trying!

Garlic Oyster. Highly recommendable.
Taste is really good. My rating is 8 out 10!

I will come back for the set as it is quite a budgeted meal that allows me to eat a meal with oysters! Oyters lovers, don't miss it!

Penang Village  OK Jul 04, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Restaurant | Noodles

We have a good lunch at Penang Village during my birthday.
Penang Village offers a variety of food from Malay, Nyonya, Chinese to local dishes.
We visisted their 1st outlet which is located at Sri Hartamas.
It offers a relaxing environment with light music.
The price is pretty reasonable too!

Penang Curry Mee
Coconut soup based served with chicken fillet, prawn, cockles, and bean curd
It is a bit spicy to the person who had this.
Tatse not bad too!

I ordered this! Penang Assam Laksa
Aromatic traditional fish gravy served with laksa noodle
I will give a rating 3 out of 5. Portion is quite generous =)

One of our side order, Kerabu Softshell Crab
We enjoyed this a lot, very crispy!
Served with home made nyonya sweet and sour sauce.

Village Special Fried Rice
with Baba Fried CHicken that is quite ok.
Tried by my malay friend and she loves it. Not very spicy.

One of the Penangites choice
Village Wantan (8pcs)
Deep fried served with homemade sauce
Not bad too! but the filling inside the wantan I felt not sufficient for each piece.

Baba Fried Chicken
Marinated Spiced Chicken, deep fried to golden crispy!
Taste is just Ok only, below my expectation >.<

Penang Char Koay Teow
Seems a bit dry but the taste is quite ok.
my friend eat with chili padi and he commented the portion is too small!

Restaurant Pizza Brava Hartamas Smile Jul 03, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Italian | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Seafood

I was introduced to Pizza Brava Hartamas from the promotional coupon by Everyday Malaysia (52% off Large 12 inch Pizza)

I paid RM11 for the RM25 Large 12 inch Pizza. Seriously worth it!
This shop is directly opposite PELITA nasi kandar shop
(from the main road, you can see Bomba station)

PIZZA BRAVA

Jalan 25/70 A, Desa Sri Hartamas,50480 Kuala Lumpur.

Pizza Brava's specialty of wood fire thin crust pizza which is extremely crispy with handmade dough.
They also serve great varieties of western food.
Most of the food selections in the menu are below RM20.

Our drinks:
Orange Juice and Ice Lemon Tea.

Wild mushroon soup at RM7.90 only.
Yummy, I like hand made soup
however it cannot beat the one served in Delicious Cafe.

Pictures of the making of wood fire
thin crust pizza

I like the pasta, it was properly cooked, texture was just nice!
It was tender to bite.

Here come my al dente ("to the tooth" or tender crisp) pizza Brava
My rating: 3.5 of 5
Taste nice, I would prefer more cheese and meat to be added to it.

Will I visit again? Maybe yes =)

Parking may be an issue during dinner hours.

The cuttery

The slices of pork meat.
The waiter cut the slices for us into pieces!
