Rice Roll with BBQ Pork Smile Jul 30, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Restaurant | Desserts

This was our last dish of the day, Rice Roll with BBQ Pork. It comes surrounded with fragrant soy sauce and a small saucer of sambal. Glad to see that they were very generous with the amount of BBQ pork put inside. We poured soy sauce over it and had it with some sambal. There was so much flavour in it and it was so scrumptious with the soy sauce and sambal. This is another dish I would recommend you to try.

Heavenly Deep Fried Radish Cake Smile Jul 30, 2012

Omg.. This is food from the heavens, I tell you! I've tried radish cakes from numerous other places but they're always the same chewy bouncy type (added too much flour). The Deep Fried Radish Cake here puts them all in shame! The outside is crunchy and slightly salty but as you bite in, the inside of the radish cake is so soft, it kinda melts in your mouth. At only RM 3.80, I'm sure to order this again on my next visit! Highly recommend this dish.

I have had this set twice already. It consists of a plate of fried chicken and rice with braised sauce. The braised egg is an add on. The chicken is cooked 'Uncle Bob' style, salty with lots of seasoning. The outside is crispy while the inside is left juicy and soft. Probably not the healthiest but I really like it. And the rice is the best! It's covered with the braised sauce and some 'ham choi' (salted vegetable). I could probably have it everyday.. The egg however, I found to be not as impressive as the taste didn't go all the way in.

The portion of the Spaghetti with Chicken Chop is quite big for the price of RM13.90. On the right is the aglio olio spaghetti, cooked to perfection with lots of garlic and herbs, giving it a very fragrant aroma. I've tried this before and I've always though it was tasty. The chicken chop is juicy and tender. It is covered in lots of yummy black pepper sauce. Overall, it's not too oily nor salty. Just perfect. One of the better dishes here!

Tortilla Chips & Salsa Smile Jul 25, 2012

You know I really like something if I have cravings for it every now and then. It is not exactly 'real food' but more of a snack to me. The tortilla chips have a perfect crisp and saltiness. They taste okay by themselves (not exactly tasteless since there's the corn taste) but the salsa dip makes it awesome. The salsa is fresh, sour and spicy. Best part, it's bottomless! At RM 12.50+, it's a great snack to share with friends. I even put it in a doggy bag if I can't finish it. Don't waste good food!
