Fried Vegetable Smile Aug 18, 2012   (Related Review)

Khunthai Authentic Thai Restaurant serve thai style cuisine, with the spiciness that acceptable by Malaysian.

Thai style Fried Kang Kong in Khunthai is quite similar to Malays style of Kang Kong. Overall quite spicy in taste, but still acceptable for me. The vegetable is not too long and it's quite easy to eat. The spicy of vegetable is like the middle of belacan and sambal taste.

Soya Ice Shaved Smile Aug 18, 2012   (Related Review)

Tong Pak Fu is having daily promotion whereby you can get different flavors of ice shaved on certain days for only RM5. The picture above is the Soya ice shaved which I get it for RM 5 on Friday.

The ice shaved finely, with a very nice presentation. Some side topping come along such as red beanm, taro balls and jelly. The soya is spread evenly in ice shaved; but the taste of soya is not that strong. It's not very sweet in taste, but you can feel the cool and fresh when having this dessert. The taro balls is just nice and chewy, while I personally don't like the red bean to eat with ice shaved.

Cool, icy dessert is more common dessert we can find in all dessert shop in Malaysia. However, Hot dessert can be nice and delicious too.

The black sesame cream is quite thick, not very sweet in taste. It have very strong taste of black sesame fragrance. The cream is smooth. The portion is not that much but it's easy to feel full while having this dessert. I strongly recommend to have 2 people to share a bowl of black sesame dish.

Coffee Snow Ice Smile Aug 18, 2012

Tong Pak Fu, is one of the famous Hong Kong style dessert specialize shop. This is my first time trying Hong Kong style dessert. The restaurant environment is nice, with some very creative design in their interior and even the spoon and bowl.

The presentation is very nice and and comes in quite a big portion. This make us crazy to snap photo with it before start eating. The coffee snow ice is rich with coffee flavor, quite soft, not sweet and cool. Definitely suitable to those coffee lover. It comes with side toppings like red bean, glass jelly and strawberry. The red bean seem not that fresh, while the strawberry taste a bit sour.

Mango dessert Smile Aug 18, 2012   (Related Review)

Ice Bowl is one of the well known dessert shop with their signature dessert- Mango dessert. It's really cool and refreshing to have a bowl of ice in hot day.

It's a mango ice with mango fruit, some sago and marshmallow. Nice presentation.
The mango is soft and sweet and when it mixed with the ice, personally I think it's too sweet for me. Most probably because the ice is full of the mango thick sweet juice. Even the mashmallow can't balance the sweetness of whole bowl of mango ice.
