Chicken Cheese Kebab

Kebab is a wide variety of meat dishes originating in Iran, and later on adopt in Middle East, Turkey and Asia. Henry Cook Restaurant have bring this fusion to their menu and enhanced the ingredients used in kebab.

The Wheat bread cover is soft, with the chicken kebab which taste tender and good. Besides chicken, below the bread it stuffed with sliced salads, carrots, onions, cheese and cucumber. The portion is big, but well enough for a big eater. The sauce is a bit tasty, which bring the whole taste of kebab.

Steam Fish Fillet

Henry Cook is well known Asian Fusion Style restaurant. We can find many new match of dishes which can't easily find in other restaurant. Most Fish Fillet is usually cook in deep fry. In Henry Cook, we can eat fish fillet in more healthy way, as it cook in steam.

The fish is fresh, with light taste of sauce, which make the fish taste very unique and superb. I like the sauce very much. You can optional to choose yellow fragrant rice or baked potato. For yellow fragrant rice, it's not oily, with some raisins mix in the rice.

Chicken Schnitzel- RM 13.50

Tappers is a Western restaurant at Jaya one with price quite affordable by student. 10% discount is given by showing the student card during payment. Aroma of restaurant is nice, but place limited, better to reserve place before come.

We ordered Chicken Schnitzel, which is a standard western meal with chicken chop,french fries and some salad. The sauce is a bit like mash potato sauce....with 2 piece of chicken chop..It will be very full.. French fries is nice and crispy when serve in hot. It would be good if eat with some special chilli sauce that available in restaurant.

Nyonya Laksa -RM6.90 (without egg), RM7.90 (with egg)

Putting together his vast experience in western food and Peranakan food ( he’s a 2nd generation Nyonya), Chef Henry Teo established Istanbul Gourmet in 1995 which served a wicked range of fusion food such as the ever popular Laksa. Henry Cook is one of the famous fine dining place in SS2 mall with all unique decoration chosen by the Henry Teo.
Nyonya Laksa is one of signature dish in Henry Cook. The soup is not that spicy but tasty and fragrant. All the ingredients in this laksa is fresh and nice. The laksa is serve with some chicken slices, bean sprouts, sliced bean curd and fish cake slices. Egg is optional ingredient.
The noodles is soft and not sticky, served with tasty laksa soup. Portion is just value to money. I strongly recommend to have this dish if you step into Henry Cook.

Spaghetti Carbonara -RM12.50

Tapper, a well known western restaurant located at Jaya One, is a great place for reunion with friends and family. I like the aroma of whole restaurant, and their service.
Carbonara, a well known cream to cook the spaghetti based on egg, cheese, bacon and black pepper. Tapper's Spaghetti Carbonara is not that big portion. However you will feel full with the rich white carbonara cream. The cream is quite wet, Taste superb in overall. This spaghetti is not that oily like Spaghetti Olio ( Tapper's another Spaghetti dish) , but if compare with other restaurants Spaghetti Carbonara, It's lose it's uniqueness.
