Taiwanese Sausages OK Mar 18, 2013
Categories : Taiwanese | Stall / Warung

It's located at 3rd floor of Times Square, Tiny Taipei. This is a place that I must visit to look for snacks each time I go Times Square. That time, I wanted to order pork sausages but it was finished. So I ordered chicken sausages with mayonnaise sauce. There are 5 cocktail sausages in 1 box. It tastes quite not bad, and the price is quite reasonable too. Perhaps pork sausages will be better, and I will try it again next time.

Desserts at Sweet Hut Smile Mar 15, 2013

This shop is not easy to be seen because it's at the upper floor of the building. It's just right above of PatKinPatSan cafe if you can't find it. The waiters were very friendly. After we sat down, they immediately handed us the menu, while we were looking at the menu, they served us water. Perhaps is for us to rinse our mouth before eating other desserts? I did it anyway. This cafe does serve many kinds of desserts, range from snow ice, hot desserts, pudding, healthy desserts and some snacks. Member who birthday also have special privilege. I ordered a Royal Durian Sago with Durian Ice Cream and Soft Grass Jelly and a

. Besides that, we also ordered a hot peanut cream soup (花生糊) as my mum prefers hot desserts. The Royal Durian Sago with Durian Ice Cream and Soft Grass Jelly is really super nice, I love it so much. No exaggeration, it is really one of the most delicious desserts I've ever tasted because the taste and smell of durian is so rich and they do put the real flesh of durian inside so I'm like eating the real durian. The Coconut Pudding with Caramel Pudding is also really nice. The caramel pudding is quite smooth and rich. It's really awesome anyway. The coconut pudding inside is quite chewy too, texture just nice enough. The flesh of the coconut is quite fresh too. For the peanut cream soup, it's just normal, maybe compared to the 2 desserts above? Anyway the chopped peanuts are quite aromatic. Overall, I will give this dining session a 4.5/5 marks."

Yum Cha~ Smile Mar 15, 2013

One day my friends came from klang to visit me at setapak around 11pm, they were looking for place to yumcha and chitchat, but at this time many shops are closed already. So I suggested to try at In House Cafe because it's opening 24 hours. Initially I just want to order a drinks but when I flipped through their menu, I feel like eating some snacks. Then I saw one quite special snack, Tuna French Toast (RM4.90). This is the first time I see french toast with tuna inside. So I decided to try it out. The taste is not weird at all even it added tuna on the toast that has sweetness of honey. However the tuna inside is just too little. Then I ordered a passion fruits drinks (RM6.90), I forgot what is its name. It's a smoothies of passion fruits flavor. Quite not bad, not too sweet or sour. Sum up these 2 with government tax and service charge, it costs me around RM13 which is quite expensive as supper.

Salmon Steak Smile Mar 15, 2013

The location of this restaurant is very strategic, can be seen clearly from the road of Jalan Genting Klang. When I go in the staff immediately handed me the menu. I ordered a Grilled Salmon Steak (RM22.90)

. At first I was considering whether to order the Special Cajun Chicken Chop or the salmon steak. Then I called the staff to recommend me some signature dish, but he doesn't seem like know how to recommended the food for me and just pointing those food with thumbs sign. Haha anyway, it won't be a big problem for me but I think it's good if the supervisor teaches them these stuffs. The looks of the salmon is very nice, as you can see from the photo how thick is the salmon. They grilled the skin of the salmon until very nice and a little bit crispy, nice one. However in my point of view, the outer part of the salmon is a little bit overcooked because I actually prefer raw salmon, yet the middle part of the salmon is just nice enough. The set comes with a salad and a jacket potato and also black pepper sauce. Firstly, I squeezed the lemon onto the salmon. It really enhances the freshness of the salmon. I first try the salmon without dipping the black pepper sauce, I can feel the freshness of the salmon. Then I try another bite with black pepper sauce, the taste of the salmon was totally covered by the sauce. So I suggest you guys not to pour the sauce onto the salmon if you really want to enjoy the freshness of the salmon. The salad is just normal. The jacket potato is very nice because it is very well-cooked and won't be too dry, I can still feel the moisture of the potato. If you are looking for some snacks there, this is very recommended, (I am not sure whether they do serve it or not). When I was eating, the staff serves me a glass of ice water and tells me it is free of charge because I didn't order any drinks. Her service is really nice and smiling all the time. Overall, it's a good dining experience with good service and food. The price won't be very expensive too.

Chicken Parmigiana OK Mar 15, 2013
Categories : Singaporean | Western variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops | Burgers / Sandwiches

It's quite hard to reach the restaurant as it cannot be seen from the road outside and I can't find the address on the google map or even gps navigator. I can only click the map on the website and roughly know where is the location. If I am not staying around there, it's quite hard to find it. It's located at the row of shops behind PatKinPatSan. The decoration of the restaurant is quite nice with white colour as theme. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana. The portion of the dish is quite big compared to usual chicken chop i eat. The chicken is coated with bread crumbs and fried, then topped with tomato sauce and cheese. However the batter is a bit too thick and cause the chicken does not have crispy feel. The taste of the sauce is almost close to the taste of pizza. If you are a pizza or cheese lover, this dish should be quite not bad for you. The coleslaw is quite nice too. It's served cold, maybe was just taken out from fridge. But for the fries, it quite disappointed me because I think they pre-fried the fries and re-fried when the customers order it. This cause the fries is soaked with oil and texture become too hard. The quality of the fries would be quite nice if they fry it fresh upon request. Overall this dish can get 75 marks except the fries. The cappuccino is quite smooth and aroma is just nice enough, but it was not hot already when I drank it. They provide us brown sugar instead of white sugar.
