Headed here to have some drinks and chill during the afternoon. They have a good selection of beers on tap or bottle however rather pricey. Guess you are paying for being in Hard Rock.
Sat outside overlooking the river. Nice view, breezy and great to watch the world go by. Ended up spending 3 hours and lots of pints.
Service is reasonable. Décor is typical Hard Rock. Can't speak about the food as we never tried anything. Would recommend a stop just to enjoy the HR experience.

decent & quick... OK Aug 09, 2014

There are quite a few chicken rice balls restaurants in Jonker Street. All professing to be the best & most authentic. At the end of the day they are all quite similar. This is one of the better options due to the quick turnaround, English menu & not so long queue. Service is quick as majority of the items are pre prepared.
Go for the roasted chicken which has crispy skin & a rich flavour. The siew yoke & char siew is just average. So is the steamed taugeh and braised egg. The highlight would be the rice balls which is fluffy & flavourful. Good to be eaten on its own.

Suzy's Corner is famous for good economical western fare. They make yummy steaks, lamb chops and grilled chicken at a cheap price. Only downside its a stall located by the road side so for those that are particular please avoid. If not do head down and enjoy good & cheap western fare. They also serve up local favourites like satay, naan, murtabak and fried rice / noodles. The place is clean and the food quality is consistant.

good late night stop... OK Aug 09, 2014

Headed here after drinks at Soho for a bite to cap the night. Being a public holiday nothing much was open. End up being a surprising find as the food was good. We had capati rolls and butter cake which was awesome. Their murtabak is also worth a try but avoid the mutton soup. Way too oily. Their drinks are of decent quality and service was adequate. Price wise I would say normal for that area. Heard the nasi kandar isn't all that bad but too heavy so we never tried. Worth a stop when feeling peckish.

drinks and people watch... OK Aug 09, 2014

Not too keen on their food since we have so many varieties along Jonker Street but the Geographer Cafe is a great place to wind down, have some cold beers and people watch. The live music helps as well. Weekends are a riot here with Geographer and their competitor Ringo directly across taking turns providing live music. Service is so so and pricing is average. Best advise is to get some munchies along Jonker street, find a suitable seat, order your drinks and chill.
