I happened to walk pass xiao bar wang, decided to order the crispy chicken 咸酥鸡 for snack. It was really delicious! The chicken despite being deep fried, it still tasted very tender and juicy. It was not too oily too. I like how they seasoned the chicken, gives extra flavours to it. It was especially crunchy and you can practically hear the crunch whenever you eat it.

After hours of shopping, my daughter and I headed to oyster king for dinner. I ordered their Lala fried rice. I was very glad with their generosity of the Lala. Their Lala were pretty plump and juicy. I found the fried rice really fragrant. The texture of the rice was just right, it was not too hard nor was it too soft. It was seasoned perfectly, very tasty and not too salty. It was pretty reasonably priced at RM7.50.

coffee jelly milk tea Smile Jul 16, 2013

I seldom order other toppings other than pearls or pudding or grass jelly but I was feeling a little adventurous so I got myself the coffee jelly topping. To my surprise, it tasted really good. The jelly had this distinct coffee taste. The coffee taste was simply aromatic. I like the texture of the jelly too. Somehow the coffee goes well with the milk taste. One mouth of coffee jelly and one mouth of milk tea gives you the yuan yang flavour. Pretty unique.

chocolate Oreo Smile Jul 16, 2013   (Related Review)

My daughter bought a crepe to share with me. She picked the chocolate Oreo flavour. The crepe really had Oreo biscuits. The crepe was chewy, a contrast in texture with the crunchy Oreo pieces. The Oreo itself already tasted chocolaty, so when mix with the chocolate spread, it was more chocolate. For us sweet tooth, we definitely enjoyed it, but it may be a little too sweet for those who are not sweet tooth.

stone pot korean Smile Jul 16, 2013

I think Kim Gary sells quite a fusion of food. I spotted a korean stone pot also known as bibimbap. I was pretty excited to give it a try. It took them pretty long to serve this dish, cos probably a lot of time is needed to heat up the entire stone pot. I like their kimchi, it tasted different from the korean kinds, it tasted more of sweet than sour. Their chilli paste to mix with the rice was pretty good, it was sweetish and not too spicy. It was indeed a delicious dish!
