I love eating at Kenny Rogers. Their food is just simply amazing albeit pricey. As usual, I got the half chicken, 2 servings of potato wedges, rice and their vanilla muffin.

The chicken has an unbelievable golden brown skin that is just full with flavours and tender white meat beneath that. The potato wedges still have their skin on, and is baked perfectly, its nice and soft and the garlic parsley combination just gives it a nice and fresh taste.

The rice is very aromatic, and the onions, carrot and capsicums gives it a great taste. Its also very soft. Their muffins are still the best I have ever tasted (if anyone knows of better please do share), and the vanilla muffin is my favourite. The muffin is nice and soft and the vanilla flavours are quite easily detected making it nice and sweet.

I love banana leaf rice. One of the best things about it is you can keep refilling any of the items included in the set which will consists of vegetables, curry and rice.

Nirwana is one of the more well known places to get banana leaf. Their curries are great, strong, spicy but not very hot, and the best vegetable they offer is the deep fried bittergourd. When you bite into this crispy delight, you will first taste the salty outer part followed by the bitter sweet vegetable.

I'm not a big fan of poppadums so I can't give a fair judgement on it but needless to say i didn't like it.

I also added on the side their chicken masala. It was great, crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside, its balance of spices and juicyness is truly a great compliment to the overall dish.

Remember, you can always ask for seconds.

I ordered the green curry with plain rice set. It also came with the famed thai mango chilli.

The mango was sour and wasn't very spicy, I have had hotter ones but it was still pretty nice to eat with the curry and rice.

The green curry was really nice, it was thick and was very flavourful and sweet and you can just drink it like that.

Been awhile since I walked into an A&W outlet, I used to love it when I was a kid.

As usual, I had the Root Beer Float, a Coney Dog.

The root beer float is still as good as I remembered it to be, the gassy sweet root beer going with the nice creamy vanilla ice cream is just amazing.

The Coney Dog is smaller than last time (I think that's the case everywhere). Still tastes great though, the hotdog and bun is not anything special, whats special is the sauce. Nice spicy onions with a beanless chilli with diced meat. The salty sausage goes well with the spicy onions and the sweet chilli.

I also had an Ice Cream Waffle. Its extremely good especially when eaten hot, the waffle is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and has a nice flavour to it. Its good enough to it on its own but is just amazing when topped up with the vanilla ice cream.

At first glance, the name Jombali made me think it was going to be Indonesian food but taking a closer look; they were serving Malaysian food instead which was disappointing but decided to give it a try anyway.

I ordered the Iced Mocha which was just average, it was just sweet and you can't really taste the chocolate or the coffee.

For my meal, I ordered the Nasi Goreng Lamb Chop (I was hungry). The rice was very plain, there wasn't much flavour and I had to add a lot of chilli for flavour. Whilst for the lamb chop, it was tough and not very juicy. I forgot what was the sauce that came with it but in the end it wasn't memorable. When I was eating my food, I thought I was in a street fight because the meat was so tough.

Don't think I will be coming back here again.
