this meal was one of my most-often meals when i was stuyding back in foundation as i would always visit sunway pyramid for lunch. i brought the bf to try this since we were clueless as to what we want to eat in pyramid.

this set consisted of a bowl of braised eggs and vegetables with rice, as well as a plate of chinese sausages.
the braised eggs and vegetables are my favorite ^^ they had this distinctive flavor like a kampung style taste. if i am not mistaken this is considered hakka style?

the rice comes in a big portion so i was very satisfied with it. the chinese sausages on the other hand tasted quite bland though. felt like i was chewing plain packed sausages..

For a price of RM22, its actually quite cheap to have a dish like this!! i personally am not fond of lamb in the first place due to its pungent smell and overwhelming taste but this one was suprisingly more mild than i have expected. they were pan-grilled to a decent state but somehow they were parts where it looked quite burnt.. other than that, it was also served with 2 different type of sauces - basic gravy and chili sauce. not so amusing.

I ordered this for myself because i was craving for spaghetti, and this one looked appetizing from the menu. i was also curious to see how dory fish goes well with this carbonara spaghetti. the nice thing about the dory fish was that it was topped with caramelized onions. it gives off a sweet and tangy flavour towards the dory fish. the pasta on the other hand, may be a little too dilluted for me.

had brunch at food foundry with the boyfriend and his mom here one particular day. i really liked the restaurant because it was so opened-air spaced and was comfy to chill, with this relaxing ambience and environment for appetizer, we decided on spring rolls because his mom felt like having them. the spring roll arrived in a pretty little bucket, and arranged so beautifully as well. the fillings actually included eggs and crab meat! it was crispy and light to be eaten, i really wouldn't mind having a second one at all

this was looked surprisingly similar to the one my bf ordered. the bowl of rice was filled with a generous amount of minced beancurd, all fried and smashed to look similar to minced meat. in fact, it tasted so much like one too. the minced beancurd had a little spiciness to it as they used cili padi to cook it. the spiciness was infused very well within the beancurd too! the bowl of rice also came together with a topping of sliced and shredded vegetables.
