I was walking and passed by Cinnabon on that day. Their cinnamon rolls caught my attention so I decided to get myself a minibon.
Pretty packaging.

Chocolate flavor cinnamon roll.

This is SUPER AWESOME! This was my very first time to have the best cinnamon roll in my life. Normally, if you buy cinnamon rolls from bakery it is just a normal bun with some raisin inside but Cinnabon is different! They successfully make the bun so chewy with the rich chocolate sauces at each layer and on top of it. The first bite was so blissful. Delighted!!

Since that day, I fell in love with those cinnamon rolls and become a cinnamon rolls' lover. lol Nothing against buns of steel, but I prefer their soft, warm and covered in the signature frosting. Gonna find a day to try out their Caramel Pecanbon too!lol

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Bak Kut Teh

Have no idea to have the best bak kut teh in town? Here is it people! It was my very first time to have such a scrumptious and different traditional bak kut teh in kl. Besides bak kut teh, they still offered a lot of Chinese cuisines at their menu.

What I have tried:
Drunken Chicken in Huangjiu.

Drunken Chicken in Huangjiu.

Firstly, this is the most recommended dishes to you all! You can really smell Huang Jiu from far. As you can see from the picture, there is a fried egg on top of it, inside have a lot of herbal so if you would like to try a really different taste of bak kut teh can definitely go for this! The wolf berries are so nature-sweet and it makes the soup taste really excellent. Personally will come back because of it. lol

Huang Jiu make the egg and chicken taste delectable.
Yu Yi's Signature Pot.

Yu Yi's Signature Pot.

If you are the person who like garlic very much I will highly recommended you this because they put a lot of garlic inside but it does not have the weird taste of garlic. Also, the garlic are cooked so well and you can still see its shape yet it is soft.
Pork Stomach in Peppery Soup.

Pork Stomach in Peppery Soup.

They managed the pork stomach very well because it is clean and without any smell. It amazed me most because it is nice to bite as I have tried some of the pork stomach is like eating rubber band. huffy For their soup base, it is a peppery soup so you have to taste and drink it slowly in case you do not get choked by the power of black pepper. tongue
Steamed Fish Head with Minced Ginger.

Steamed Fish Head with Minced Ginger.

Minced ginger goes really well with the fish. The minced ginger are fully covered the whole fish head. So generous!
Shuang Kou Rou.

Shuang Kou Rou.

Their new recipe and specialty- Xuang Kou Rou *in Chinese* means it is very chewy like the meat is dancing in your mouth. shocked Yes, it is, not exaggerated.
Yard-long Bean Rice and Kangkong.

Yard-long Bean Rice and Kangkong.

As for me, when it comes to bak kut teh i will definitely order myself a bowl of yam rice but here, they served us one of their recommended dishes which is yard-long bean rice. It cooks with dried shrimps, long beans and onions all together so it taste similar with yam rice. But most important they fried all the ingredients before so it makes the rice become more tasty! Well done!

The interior of the restaurant is clean and some simple design.

Their boss is the most friendly and cheerful boss I have never seen in life. A very good dining experience for me.smile

"Home of Sticky Bones", Morganfield's has the best pork ribs ever!

The breathtaking sea view from the place we sat at outside.

What I have tried:
Hickory Wood-Smoked Pork Ribs.

Hickory Wood-Smoked Pork Ribs.

The BEST pork ribs ever because of its sauce. This BBQ sauce is their signature selection. The ribs were kinda smothered by the powerful BBQ sauces, just a perfect combination I commented. The portion is quite big here so half a slab can share for 2 persons. smile

Cassis Restaurant is a fine dining restaurant. The cozy restaurant with a dining hall upstairs is decorated with a huge chandelier. It was a really good experience for me to dine in here because of their great dining ambiance and of course their good food and service.

What I have tried:
Pumpkin soup.

Pumpkin soup.

Pure pumpkin flesh inside and so creamy, MUST try!
Mushroom salad with sesame dressing.

Mushroom salad with sesame dressing.

Wild mushroom goes well with the sesame dressing.
Light-Seared Atlantic Salmon.

Light-Seared Atlantic Salmon.

Medium-cooked of salmon is good and juicy but the BEST part is the crispy skin!
Spaghetti and asparagus with a thin layer of fats.

Spaghetti and asparagus with a thin layer of fats.

The waiter told me the spaghetti is tasteless so match with their special gravy, Ponzu Yuzu Soy to have a good combination. Nice lol Also, the asparagus covered with a thin layer of bacon's fats is definitely awesome as you know asparagus is quite hard to bite so it is matching good with some thin layer of fats.
Sous-Vide German Pork Belly.

Sous-Vide German Pork Belly.

Personally feel it was overcooked and thick layers of fats. sad Passion fruit puree as its gravy is special, it tastes a little bit sweet and sour.
Dessert of the day- Belgium chocolate ice-cream.

Nothing special but overall is nice.

We enjoyed the lunch, and are definitely visiting Cassis again for more of their fine cuisines! Delighted!

This big size burger really impressed me a lot!lol
The Tornado.

The Tornado.

Zoom in.

Zoom in.

You can see the 2' thick burger which have onion rings, fried egg, patty and their very special sauce- fiery mayo inside. The sauce tastes a little sour and spicy, although it looks like thousand island but trust me, this is way better than it x10000times. Also, the runny egg yolk surprised me lots! Hence, the egg yolk can flow until your whole hand. Their bun is grilled with butter before so it will be more aromatic but the grilled chicken patty is a little too salty for me.
Beautiful mess.

So thumbs up!smile

Go earlier to avoid disappointment. I went there around 7pm and it is already full house. No service and government tax as well.
