Residents of Tanjung Bungah are fortunate to have a nice pisang goreng stall in their area. Named Penang Tanjung Bungah Goreng Pisang, it operates at the back of a van parked beside the main road.

The banana fritters are coated with a layer of golden crispy batter, allowing the bananas inside to remain hot even though the exterior has cooled somewhat. The irresistibly-delicious batter is a trade secret of this stall. No wonder this stall remains popular over the years!

Ko.B.Q is operated by ethnic Koreans. The waiting staff is very attentive and courteous.

The marinated chicken is tender and flavorful in taste. It is not as spicy as we desired, but I think the savory flavors make up for it. Other ingredients such as garaetteok and cabbage serve to even out the flavor. In all, the taste of this Dak Galbi is commendable. However, we agreed that the portion is simply insufficient for four persons.

Sunshine Medan Selera is an air-conditioned food center in Sunshine Square, Bayan Baru. For one month, selected food and drinks are offered at discount price during dinner time.

The Clay Pot Rice is quite reasonable. The rice and chicken are flavorful, giving a light taste to the mouth. Whereas the egg gives an extra savory taste this dish.

Among all items on this Favorites Platter, the Mexican Chicken Rolls are my favorite by far. Each roll is made in burrito style, then deep-fried so that the coating is crispy. The roll fillings are shredded chicken, chicken pepperoni, kidney beans, corn and capsium.

I find the New Orleans Drumettes quite satisfying too. The lovely BBQ sauce makes the drumsticks very appetizing.

Gong Cha Signature Winter Melon Tea is a winter melon tea with a layer of milk foam on top. The milk foam distinguishes itself with a nice sour twist, much to my delight. Despite the fact that I explicitly asked for half-sweetness, the drink is still way too sweet than what I am comfortable with.

The taste of Milk Tea With Oreo Crumbs is more acceptable. This drink is also quite sweet, but I think this is acceptable for milk tea. However, the Oreo crumbs are not well blended with the drink, causing large residual chunks in the end.
