This coconut shake was introduced to me by one of my friend who is studying in Melacca. It took some time for me to search for the 'Pondok' only using Google Map since i'm unfamiliar with the road in Melacca and that place is out from the city. Lucky enought it was at the road side and easy to be seen.So, milk shake at hot day?I do feel amazed with the shake and it turn out to be so good. It tasted likely to have ice cream blend with coconut water and they work well together.
I am surprise only at a small hut that serve milk shake in Malaysia weather. Truly awesome for the owner

Been listening how great was the Satay Celup in Melacca recently so it was in my list of food to eat when I made my 1 day trip there. Arrive there around 6pm and was feeling amazing from the stretch of lines waiting. Looking good and the people who waited there seems to be mostly youngsters and listening from their accent seems to be from KL as well. So we waited around 45 mins there and finally there is a table for us. After clearing the table they bring us a pot that actually look like above. Its still acceptable knowing they did not change from the last customer or they have recycle it but we are totally fine with that. Then there comes some bread and cucumbers.Not to comment the freshness of the food there and soon the pot begin to boil like thick lava. We just chuck all things in like a big pot. The taste i find nothing special. Its just like any lok lok truck can find anywhere with additional Satay Sauce added. There is no any special flavor I can taste and despite the amount of photograph they have at the wall and also from people telling us how good it was. To me its overrated. If I am looking for a good atmosphere for spending a long night with friends, it might be not bad. As for the taste wise.. Sorry not for me.

Spotted this new spot while walking down the Empire Shopping during New Year day. Well as the menu was hugely display outside the sitting, my curiosity arise and walk toward the board. Hmm.. High tea for 2 .. Rm50. Well since it is new year day. Just give it a shot.They have nice decoration around the seating area which located outside the actual shop. The center table was filled with dessert which of course its separate from the high tea set.We are being served the drinks first. So it come with 2 drinks which can be any from the menu and we have 1 Latte and another Orange Pekoe Tea. Well for the tea, I think its just tasted like plain English black tea(I'm not a tea person). Quite mild and still taste good after 2 rounds. It was from T2 i suppose.Not long after that, the set was served. It was beautiful displayed in 3 tiers.Since I am able to choose the cake, I choose the Black Forest. It come with 2 macaroons(I think its strawberry and lavender) and 2 truffles. Those macaroons are lovely as they are not too sweet and the taste of the jam in between is good. The black forest cake I find its a little dry and the cherry in between don't have much taste.The second layer is filled with Quiche(Its beef) Scones with cream and jam and Madeleines. Well I do find the Quiche nice but since its beef so non-beef eaters might wanna look out. Its moist and very flavorful.

The third layer is smoked salmon sandwich which is alright for among all. Can really taste the salmon and its a whole piece there...

Overall felt quite satisfied for this High Tea. The environment is nice and wished the cake was served at a bigger portion. Had a great evening there.

Since ages ago people are bragging about how great the burger and with much curiosity, I went there last night.

The moment we arrive at the door step, its like the shop been overly crowded with customers. The line to cashier was till the door. We lined for like 20mins just to get our order in and waited for around another 50 mins just to get our burger out. The plus is that the people there are friendly and the soda is refillable~ So while waiting, we just drink up cups after cups of soda. Initially we ordered take away because the restaurant is really packed and wasn't expected to wait for that long. After when our burger finally arrived, we have found our seats

Well about the burger wise, to me its like nothing too special about. Well of course wasn't comparing to 'm*D' but its less that juiciness in it. As i have took the set menu, so the soda+herb fries was another Rm6 to the meal. So the total cost for the night is Rm15 for the A+ burger and Rm6 for the other stuff.

During the wait, just checked out the environment of the shop, It was surprisingly clean as their staff always on the run to clean tables after customers left. The only thing is their tap was broken and we are to use wet tissue to wipe hand

Overall, after spending the 1hr + of waiting time and the total bill for that burger, I don't suppose its worth the money afterall.

Went there for a quick dinner for the Bon Odori event held just outside of the restaurant and so happen to try out for the first time. I find that the atmosphere of the restaurant was pretty nice and some retro deco around. There is a long list of food here and been wondering to try out some new things. Well as not a big fan of beans, I kinda like this Cottage Pie. The cheese was rich and eating together with the bean and mash potato. Additional, this is Vegetarian food so it is good for all My friend ordered this burger and from the look it is fantastic. Topped with melted Swiss Guyre cheese and mushroom. When cut opened, the tender and juicy beef was pink inside. Ordered Churros for Dessert. Have no idea of what it suppose to taste like and find that I don't really like it. It taste like flour batter fried and stick with cinnamon sugar. It was suppose to dip into the Dulce de leche but afterall inside just have no taste. Like eating fried Gnocchi.

After all I think the service was only average. Seems very lack of staff and the water they give us was in a glass and I saw they serve other people with a big bottle. Maybe they order more food than us?
