Dad brought me to have lunch at Restoran Kanna Curry House after I request for banana leaf rice yesterday. Usually, I like to have banana leaf rice that near my former secondary school-CHS but mom doesn't seem to like it because it is very spicy. So, today let me bring you all to this new place located at Section 17. The place seem crowded when we arrived at lunch time but we got ourselves a place inside the restaurant. The service was fast, banana leaf on the table once we seated, curry sauce serve to table, chicken, sotong, all coming one by one to our table. My eyes were like @.@ seeing all those dishes dashing to our table, my family's actions were fast too, pointing this that...within minute our table was filled with curry chicken, fried chicken, fried calamari, fish and vegetable on each of our banana leave..Deep Fried Chicken which you cannot miss when you have banana leave rice. Juicy and tender chicken thigh with indian spices. Good for those who can't take spicy food.This is a must have dish-Deep Fried Calamari when you come here. This is their special dish which you can see almost all of the tables order it. The crunchy calamari served with fried onion and curry leaves, thumbs up! However, the dish is quite pricey too.

We came across this place after a long jam at the roundabout. We decided to stop by for lunch while waiting the traffic jam to clear off. The place is located at old town which is the food court near to the market. I always come here for chicken rice as it is told to be one of the famous here. The potion was small compare to most of the chicken rice shop I visited so far. So the price automatically become expensive based on the potion. I haven't been here since last year and the taste feel like have been deteriorate. It is not as good as I imagine anymore. Curry Pork-RM4
This is one of their signature dish. You can see most of the table order extra 1 plate of this. The curry was nice but the pork a bit hard to chewy. Overall still not bad.

New Hokkaido Ice- cream open in Paradigm Mall which is very near to my house. I was craving for ice-cream today and pass by this ice-cream shop, cant resist it any more. So I got myself 1 big cone of ice-cream before going back home. Macha and Lavender Ice-cream with Waffle Cone-RM8.80
I love the waffle cone, taste sweet and crunchy. Lavender ice-cream smell very nice and smooth. I like Macha the most but it is a bit bitter but still taste very good. Must try!

Taiwanese Tower-RM12.90
A 19cm tall ice-shave dessert. where hardly can find it anywhere except here. 3 different layers of ice-shave with red bean in between. The sides come with barley, taro balls, glass jelly and pearls. A small cup of milk will be provide to add into the top. I like it very much as it is not too sweet.

The first Charlie Brown in Malaysia is now in Penang, Strait Quay. I didn't manage to go for their 1st day opening at 9th April 2011. But it seem to disappoint lots of people on their soft launch, no air-con, everything is mess up? Alright, I went with my bunch of makan kaki this time. I am a fan of Charlie Brown, can't wait to introduce all these to you all. Anyway, order are make upon the counter, just like a fast-food restaurant concept and you will be given a number for your order.I have ordered their special beverage that day-Chocolate Soya which costs me RM11.00. It taste soya more than chocolate, quite special. My friends ordered a Chocolate drink-RM9.50 and a Coffee Mocha-RM11.00. Taste not really nice. The spaghetti is very dry (do the chef know he have to put some oils while boiling the spaghetti?) The gravy taste very weird and very sour. It is like mixing tomato paste from the can directly with some chicken meat.
